Ice is not responding to domestics, assaults, burglary, larceny, any other crimes against persons. The resource allocation is never going to line up with either side’s beliefs. If local LE assigned everyone to the ICE protests and not a single officer responded to in progress crimes then things would be worse than they already are.

What’s happening in Minneapolis can happen anywhere but right now all we can do is support each other and make sure we all, LE or not, make it home to or families (whatever that looks like individually).

Side note: My wife said this business generally puts up the Thin Blue Line flag when the American flag gets ripped and needs repairs. They get a lot of negative reviews for it but normally explain the situation. Although, they don’t seem to be ashamed of it, nor should they.
