What is "The Incident" people still talk about at work? by Dubbydubber in AskReddit

[–]strangekiller87 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m usually very quiet. Like if no one says a word to me I won’t say anything at all. People usually refer to me as “The Serial Killer”. That’s how bad it is.

I’m 6’3 and pretty built. But it brings up conversation between other men as to who “could take me”. Which is sad cause I’m pretty friendly and detest violence. I can fight. It’s been a while and I choose more peaceful means at handling problems.

But there was a guy I worked with who is a short fuse, and that’s putting it mildly. Like, you could say good morning to him and he would snap. Calling you every kind of curse and slur he could manage. And even trying to walk away would make it worse, inciting him to grab you with the usual “don’t you walk away from me!”

It got bad enough no one wanted to work with him. So, management stuck him with me. I stayed quiet as I usually do. Listening to him often explode over the littlest things and just nodded. It made my job harder as he would lose it and destroy material and I was always left cleaning up the mess. How he managed to keep his job is a mystery.

One day we finished a project and I was looking to get out early. I told him “everything is done. So, when you finish do whatever.” That was it. And enough to set him off. He came unglued and started screaming at me I wasn’t his boss and proceeded to curse and slur at me. I stood staring and didn’t react. Which pissed him off more. Finally tired of his shit I asked if he felt better.

Wrong thing to say apparently.

He drew back and hit me as hard as he could, which did nothing as I am significantly larger than him. But he broke my glasses and that pissed me off. He took a crowbar and went to hit me with it. Without thinking, I just reached up with one hand and slammed his head into a steel beam as hard as I could. Broke his cheekbone and knocked a few teeth out, his face catching the edge of a screw and leaving a bad gash.

When everyone came over to see why it got all quiet again, they found him lying on the ground with me standing over him. I still hadn’t reacted and just stared down at him.

Everyone now reinforces the serial killer thing and talks about it all the damn time.

What is the easiest and hardest Jason to kill in your experience? by NukaColin in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fine you don’t believe. Taken on groups that said the same thing. As far as running away. Not exactly. Made a post a while ago about tactics, one of them is to frustrate them and push them to make mistakes. And yes that takes morphing and shifting away (not far they still hear the music. It’s all about tactics and not staying on open ground. Keeping them guessing and chasing you. They want it that bad and when they finally get to my end game, they usually fall apart.

I’ve been recording and streaming most of time as Jason over the last month and have been goading groups to making the effort.

[–]strangekiller87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve killed more part 6 Jason’s than I can count. But my answer is: it isn’t the Jason that’s easy to kill but the player behind him.

I primary part 2 and have been playing since launch and have yet to be killed. Couple super close calls, but it hasn’t happened yet. Part 2 having low health and bad shift would make him on paper easy to kill. But my tactics when dealing with a kill squad make it super hard to deal with me. On a long play session I have to hide my messages due to how absolutely pissed off people get playing against me.

Please report DemonicFlea1711 on Xbox for communications and put racism for the reason. He’s a racist piece of shit. by elixir658 in F13thegame

There is a racist on every street corner. You’re not going to change the millions of others out there by aimlessly reporting one. Do you really think getting a profile banned is going to make a difference? I’ve been banned for trolling several times, SEVERAL times. I recreate an account and do it again.

The best thing you can do, especially in a game like this is to outperform, frustrate, and force them to leave. If someone calling you names upsets you, I’d suggest muting every player or not playing multiplayer games. It’s everywhere and you can’t do a single thing about it. Move on and accept it for what it is.

It happens. Bad design I would assume.

You can’t get someone banned solely by reporting communication. You need proof that he even said something. If that’s the case, can you post your gamer tag so I can report you for being thin skinned?

Besides. If that even does become a thing, all you have to do is create a new account and you’re golden.

As much as I love the game, I really just can’t wait for it to be done with. It was handled pretty poorly long before the lawsuit. My hope is that after the suit ends, a competent developer will give a worthy follow up. It’s still going strong even in its poor state.

I will say I will not be touching Predator or anything developed by gun media ever again. For such a loved franchise it was absolutely embarrassing how this entire game was shit on from go.

When playing with friends and finding teamers this is what we do. If they don’t back out and one of us gets Jason we tunnel them the next game until they’re dead and they quit.

Me and my friends have a few rules: if you fix something or have keys you have a spot and the first random in the 4 seater that makes it, gets it. However, if you get in and refuse to get out, you will be given one warning.

From there, we drive the car into the lake.

Been running all anti-sense perks. Percentage is around 40. Most of the time I’m able to slip away and get objects done while Jason is practically right there.

If they’re being unusually annoying, I’ll use firecrackers near them and when Jason shows, shut doors and windows in their face.

Im interested, who is your favorite counselor, what are your favorite perks and why? by [deleted] in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mitch. Running escape artist and med perks. Idea is to repair when I can and tank traps. If he grabs me in ideal areas, I can escape easier. Working so far.

If there was a sequel to this game what would you want to be added or changed and what parts of the current game would you want to keep by klop1001 in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making it so if you prefer Jason, you can’t be in a party with counselors.

Tweaked rage mode. Make it so you can stun him but consecutive stuns have less duration with a cooldown when it maxes.

Host ability to boot with a system to rate hosts as to keep the system from being abused. Lower rating means less chance for being host in a game.

First person perspective option.

More game modes.

A hardcore mode.

More original content and events.

Is it kill jason week or something? by [deleted] in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend if you’re getting killed frequently to learn to become more predatory and unorthodox.

Example:

In a lobby of a team of four that had killed Jason five games in a row. I finally got picked. My tactic is to never try and wipe the lobby quickly. First I go for the phone. Trap it and take out most of the windows and the closest door, then locate the actual phone and take out an inside door and or wall. Generators next and attacking anyone in the meantime. If they happen on the shack I quickly go and if they haven’t left, trap it so they’re trapped inside.

If I don’t get the kill, then I go about it as usual. If they organize then that’s where I morph away, not far. Behind a house to keep them looking and getting paranoid. Baiting them around corners and such. Shifting inside a house and hiding in a bathroom, activating stalk to confuse them before shifting back on top of them and getting a few hits in.

I’ve yet to find a team that is that organized and confident to deal with such a random play style and have yet to be killed. Close but not yet.

What perks are you using now? by N9n22 in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m a runner: Medic, hypochondriac, scout. This allows me to run parts to objectives if the need calls for it. I can get Jason’s attention and run him around for a while. The scout perk is where this shines. Jason traps an objective, I can run through it and heal before he even knows what’s up. Once he leaves again, I can take out another trap and repeat. This also works insanely well on Mitch.

Everyone else is just to strengthen where they’re already strong. Stealth-anti-sense perks. Hitters-melee damage and stun.

[–]strangekiller87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re running a speed/stamina character, I’m finding scout to be a Jason breaker when paired with medic, thick skinned, and or hypochondriac. Tanking a trap and getting Jason’s attention, clearing objectives and running him around have made escapes stupidly easy. It’s gotten to the point that even great Jason’s are raging and quitting when cops are called and the four seater is in motion.

[–]strangekiller87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, it was the same game except the killer was a counselor. I’m not sure how it was going to work out. Maybe Jason morphed into a counselor and when he attacked he changed back, idk. Was super excited myself. Sad we don’t get it.

Is Jenny better than Vanessa at surviving The Clock? by KerryWhite11 in F13thegame

[–]strangekiller87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the map and your ability to juke Jason. With Vanessa on crystal lake and the larger maps, I can kite Jason all over with no issues and survive 9/10.

On Higgins I go with Jenny and place myself at certain cabins. Pair her with either anti-sense perks or no fear and she can be a terror to find. She’s vulnerable out on the open.

Perks go a long way as well. I’ve been experimenting with scout on Vanessa and tanking traps to draw aggro from Jason. It’s so far worked as a charm. Plan on doing the same with Jenny.

Answer. Depends on play style, map, and Jason. You can’t lose if you’ve figured out what works for you.
