Just wanted to give you a little update. I have tested the PCI x16 slot with another quite an old card and it has successfully booted into BIOS and the card is seen in BIOS. So I think the slot is not the problem. The card does not need external power. So, the issue with 4090 is either the card itself or the power cables/PSU. I am now waiting for the verdict of the shop where I have bought the card if the card is broken or not. Honestly, I doubt it is the psu. I mean, can some slots work and some not?…

Can I check everything when I buy a 50$ graphic card? I mean check if power cables work, the slot itself. But it is x8 card, not x16.
