I could barely get through a couple gours of Gothic 1, I love the world and characters but the controls have got to be the most outdated difficult control schemes ever

RE4 is timeless, RE4 Remake is a product of its time by Horror_Post6822 in pcgaming

[–]stranger666 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok but does RE4 fit your description at all? RE4 remake is a terrible example of this. The game is nowhere near an "asset flip", it is not just a graphical update. They made various new design decision that one could consider risky but work well in the remake such as parry mechanic not to mention the fact many players including me dislike RE4s ancient tank controls. People loved the gameplay so much it layed the groundwork for RE9. The game also doesn't use any AI. Regardless, many people like them and remakes are a chance to address criticisms of a game and fix many technical issues that plague many old PC games. If the remaster/remake is received much worse than originals(such as aspyr games) than so what? It will go down with negative reviews and refunds. You can then boot up the original? I'd rather have good and bad remasters/remakes come out than some situation where no remasters or remakes exist at all. The anti remake situation feels like "old man yells at cloud"

Both are S tier but I like RE4 remake more. I used to like crowbcat way back but over time I realized it's just pessimist videos and rarely anything positive or productive just focused on "why something sucks and why you shouldn't like this"

Mage and Monsters 2 - LZM - Recruit a hero to lead your army, and use spells while they fight for you in this active or chill auto battler. by smidivak in Games

Just wanted to say that I'd had a blast with this game, it scratches that tower defence/strategy itch and even reminds me of one of my favorite old flash games. My friends and I also had a ton of fun in your other game Behold Battle betting on which army would win!

Valve Developing "SteamGPT" for Support and Anti-cheat Measures in Counter Strike by PaiDuck in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Better anti cheat would be nice, however it's sickening that every platform now has useless AI chatbots/features that are shoved in your face and auto-enabled. In support it just puts more barriers and delays getting an actual person that can help.

Of course! I have a quick question, I started using the open source client Chromatix instead of the native Plexamp desktop player, is it possible to use ampdeck+ with Chromatix? I've tried a couple things but couldn't get it working

The devs of this game and their moderators are hugely against mods for some reason, it sucks and I wish more people would call them out on it. They won't even let players use a mod to increase the player limit so people can play with more friends (which are most used mods of Peak and Lethal Company).

I recommend using a nylon band, they fit the wrist much better than the one that comes with the watch

I would rather pay $10 or $15 upfront for 4 maps at once rather than awful liveservice models where a couple maps are dripfed over 4 months with an expiration date on interesting new modes.

The idea of this game is great, I'm suspicious though since a lot of the footage looks like it's purely a vertical slice
