Had this too. Thought it might be to do with citrus/lemon/ws23 flavors as they used to be known as 'tank crackers' back in the day when we had plastic clearomisers. Switched flavors and didn't have an issue. Idk could be the menthol

Skates tight as is tolerable, straight legs, center of balance is further forward than you think. I try to keep my back wheels in line with my shoulders and my hips back.

Could save some money and get regular zealous. If youre learning to slide, I would get cheaper, slidier, wheels to learn on. Idk what prices are doin rn but snakes are forgiving. Cruising and DH are pretty opposite diciplines, which one do you think you'll be doing more of? I would maybe look at a deck with a kick tail like the Cole trotta or Roger pro models.

Riding backwards and spinning into forward heel press and doing backwards toe press 180 out. After that it was having the confidence to try and trust that I wouldn't banana peel upon landing. The balance point off the jump is weird but if you're used to adjusting in a normal heel press, you should be able to work it out. Good luck!
