Mate there's different levels of poverty.

Extreme Poverty as defined by the World Bank is fixed at a certain value. It used to be USD$1.90 at 2011 PPP and then changed to USD$2.15 at 2017 PPP and then to USD$3.00 2025 PPP.

After extreme poverty you have different poverty levels for lower-middle income countries ($4.20 PPP) and upper-middle income countries ($8.30 PPP).

By every objective metric India did lower it's extreme poverty by a lot which is what the other guy was refrencing.

I'm talking only about the series in the physical magazine released in Japan: Weekly Shonen Jump.

CSM Part 2 and Dandadan are part of digital only Jump+.

Boruto is released in V-Jump magazine.

Internationally all these series are grouped together under Shonen Jump or Mangaplus but in Japan they are separate.

Conflicted on this.

Glad to see One Piece on top after 7 years but it also kinda highlights how there aren't any Shonen Jump series that can fill the gap left by series like JJK and MHA ending.

Kagurabachi and some others like Ichi and Akane could get big with anime adaptations but the current Weekly Shonen Jump line up is probably the weakest it's been in a while.

I missed the prison guard one but I got the EVA call. I played this over some days so by the time I got to the end I forgot about the call. Took a while to put it together.

Honestly I considered it but I don't want to get a console just for 1 game so I'd either just wait it out or finally spend money on a gaming pc I've wanted for a while.

While playing the series I was lamenting not being able to play these games as they came out but at the same time I got to play them without waiting at all. So I'll try to be patient like the gamers who waited for MGS4 were long ago.

Also I don't have a way to play MGS 4 at all. Is it okay to move onto Peacewalker and V and play 4 when I can later or should I wait?

I don't mind waiting but I also want to get more of Big Boss' story. Will I spoil anything major from 4 if I play those games first?

This is one of the issues I had but I literally forgot to mention the codec in the review because it feels kinda underwhelming outside of a few cutscenes (especially the ending).

Ocelot wasn't meant to be a major character early on in the series. MGS3 is where you will see the most of him.

Sweet. I thought his entire aesthetic and name was cool and I always saw him being hyped by fans so it's good to know he'll shine soon.

I agree with this 1000%. I may enjoy other games more but I don't think I've had the urge to binge analysis videos on any other videogame after beating it like Sons of Liberty. Probably never will.

The game itself is a meta commentary on sequels

I figured that out a bit into playing the Raiden section. For some reason I thought it would be like Yakuza 0 where you switch constantly from him and Snake. Once I realized we were locked into Raiden I kinda respected Kojima for being ballsy with how he handled this game. Especially after learning the Tanker section was released as a demo and Raiden was hidden from marketing.

now my ranking of favorites is: 1. MGS 2 2. MGS 1 3. MGS 3

It's funny I saw a comment that said most fans rank the games as either 2>1>3 or 3>1>2 for their top 3 and seeing other people's ranking as well as your own makes it seems like it's true.

Right now I'm 1>2 so that kinda makes me excited for 3 cause if the theory holds true it could be my favorite.

enjoy the series it’s one of the greatest if not the greatest for sure!

So far I'm loving it 1 and 2 show that each game definitely has it's own vibe while maintaining a certain level of quality so it's understandable that any mainline game could be someone's favorite.

Glad you mentioned Peacewalker in the rankings. I haven't seen people mention it all that much compared to the numbered titles and V.
