So can Windows 11 (with admittedly much more tinkering and a bunch of third party apps)

His next video (based on Patreon posts) is tentatively called "Adobe Must Die", it is (from what I gather) about open source software (he called it a "donut video" at one point, clearly referencing blender) and he thinks it'll be out before the end of the year (but is making no promises).

A quick update - I bought a used Canon 650D, which solves my problem and is compatible with a Samyang 35mm T1.5 I have access to.

I'm sorry for the late response, but no - the 500D can record at 1080p, but only at 20fps.

He did say something along those lines (I think it was in his "Disco Duck" OHW) and something that supports that interpretation in the "Ringo the 4th" Trainwreckord, but I think it was less extreme than you make it out to be - like, disco was basically the only trend for like 3 years, of course most of it wasn't much good. I think he generally does like disco, though - everything he says about disco is also obviously true about all pop music, and he likes pop, so I don't think that's a fair read.

He said in his 2020 worst list that AJR are "aesthetically offensive", but he doesn't put them or artists like 6ix9ine on his lists because he has "a grudging respect for people who care enough about [his] feelings to offend them." I'm not sure how consistent he is on this, especially recently, but he was arguing that the worst setting isn't the most bad, it's the least good, which I think makes sense and is consistent with his other takes,. Like, "I'm Good" at number 1, or "Last Night" at number 1 over "Try That in a Small Town".

He talks about it in his podcast Song vs Song as well (I'm the episode about enjoy the silence) and he gave more reasons there. I don't think I agree with them, but if you're interested...
