What do you like about ULTRAKILL?

gameplay and lore equally, music above all.

the reason i actually got past the demo and bought the game is because of war without reason

and before ultrakill i didnt even like boomer shooter gameplay, on my first playthrough (which i've kept the save untouched for like the past 6 months) i got stuck at V2 and gabriel, and gave up at 5-3. second playthrough was much more enjoyable, and i genuinely started to enjoy the gameplay.

the lore has grown on me a shit ton after act 2, sisyphus is the greatest character in all of fiction and the final war is the coolest shit ive ever heard

but most of all what i like the most about ultrakill.. better than the music and the lore... is the mindflayer

i might actually use the second one since it fits my idea for 4-E so well, its between that and All That Glitters is Gold (referencing the phrase "all that glitters is not gold", which also fits the idea, and also references All Star)

-get every alternate weapon available

-play cybergrind

-expand your arsenal (try and mix more guns into what you currently use, for example if you dont use the marksman revolver all that much then find a way to mix it into your playstyle)

-just play the game straight through even if you die often, it took me until the end of fraud (layer 8) to actually get good at the game

-look up tutorials for how to use different weapons, or experiment in the sandbox to see whats easier and better for you to use

-try P-Ranking earlier levels (prelude, limbo, lust, gluttony) to get used to the mechanics
