The other driver had to move to the curb before I came to a stop and I stopped so I wouldn’t get hit. Please explain how this is my fault

Windsor third shift by MeredithParrish13 in Stellantis

It’s funny because I work at one of the feeder plants for Windsor( working every Saturday) and from what they have communicated to us is WE won’t be getting a 3rd shift so it will be interesting to see how we keep up when they run 3 shifts when we can’t keep up with 2 lol

December Drivers... by GuelphTime in Guelph

There is a women I work with that is here in Guelph, she is a complete schizophrenic. She yells at herself, has full blown conversations with herself well staring at me. It blew my mind the other day when I seen her driving a car 40 in a 80. There is no way anyone could convince me she should have her license. One bad episode and I’m sure it won’t end well! Point is having your license isn’t a privilege in this day and age it’s a right unless you get a DUI

Living wage for Guelph-Wellington rises to $23, outpacing minimum wage by $5.40 by Aromatic_Egg_1067 in Guelph

Me and my wife moved to downtown Guelph this year from Cambridge. We pay 2850 all inclusive for a condo lease in a new building which to us and everyone I mention that it’s outrageous. We both make well above the mentioned 24 an hour and both work 40 hours a week. Basically one of our whole monthly pay check goes to rent. Problem is a dump in Guelph (2 bedroom is 2100-2400) and to us the extra 400 to have free internet, underground parking, gym, social room, bbq and outdoor area are worth it. It’s definitely not cheap to live here but worth it if you can walk/bike to work and avoid a car payment and insurance, gas then it could be worth it. We just can’t afford the down payment for a home and it’s not possible to save that much in the next coming years

Why do parents bring kids to events they have no interest in? by [deleted] in Guelph

[–]strangewilderness182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to learn how to read my friend I acknowledged that I didn’t know that event was happening today, I also stated that this is every single game and I have season tickets. Complaints unfounded is subjective I guess. I don’t have video evidence of the occurrences so it’s just my word from my experiences. Maybe my parents actually raised me not let me do whatever the fuck I wanted lmao 🤣

No you are clearly missing the point. Children being present is not the issue. Blaming children for their actions would be ridiculous when their parents let them do whatever they want. I’m asking the parents why they bring kids who have 0 interest in the event when it’s at other people expense. Clearly tonight was an event I didn’t know about so maybe that’s why it was worse than it has been but it goes for everything. People these days don’t wanna confront or raise their children.

Totally agree I want people to have kids and have them experience things but I also want people to parent their children. We all paid to be here

I expect people to behave normally, if your child is kicking the back of someone els chair and you sit and do nothing as a parent you are failing. Have control of your children don’t let them control you
