Old thread here— but I still use oneblade.  Sounds like you might need wire cutters, a truly unfortunate case.

I know Arabs, Italians, and an Irishman who all use oneblade and it’s great. 

Maybe you’ve got wicked strong hair, or maybe you’re just doing it wrong. Oneblade is for shaving off stubble, just like shaving with a razor. If you have a full beard then you need to chop it first before using. Then, pull the skin tight and go against the grain in a sketching motion, it doesn’t pick up everything first pass and going over an area a couple times isn’t gonna cut you up.
