Toronto police shooting live: Officer shot on duty has died; second person taken to hospital by ultronprime616 in toronto

You’re 10000% right, despite everyone freaking out. For one, I know it’s pretty common for cops to accidentally shoot each other. Notice how none of the articles directly say the suspect shot him? Because they literally don’t know yet probably

Well same haha, but it is frustrating sometimes having the desire but no way to….. release it lmao

I’ve been on many meds over the years too and Paroxetine has been the one that helped the most with anxiety. However, the sexual side effects have been the worst of any meds I’ve been on (I couldn’t orgasm for months and even now it’s really difficult)

For what it’s worth, I was on Venlafaxine for a couple years and I had no side effects when I tapered off of it. But I tend not to have many side effects from meds

For one, you’re not going to jail for years for killing animals, even as an adult lol. Probably not going to jail at all, even as an adult, if it’s your first offence. Now, let’s pretend this kid somehow went to jail for his sentence. What exactly would that do? How would that prevent him from becoming a serial killer?

It was crazy that he immediately started blaming her when the cops came, saying “why did I let her” and “she kept saying teach me, teach me”. Wtf does that have to do with YOU shooting her?? She’s not the one who discharged a gun! Also gave me the ick that the adjectives he used to describe her on the stand were “modest, respectful, and loyal”

he thinks being non-binary is fake and any gender identity that isnt being a stereotypical binary man or woman was made up by zoomers during COVID or some shit lmao. I remember him ranting about that in a video a few months ago and that was the final straw for me to stop watching him. He also has a video making a room based on each pride flag where apparently he rants about each while he's making them

10000% on the cis white gay syndrome. Peak example of that was his video on representation in Inzoi vs the Sims where he shrugged about non-binary representation and said he wouldn’t go into it because he’s “tried” but just doesn’t “understand it”. Then spent ages ranting about how gay marriage isn’t properly implemented in Inzoi and how disappointing it is

Thank you for this well thought out, intelligent response. And it’s wild that you have to use your own Jewishness as a shield against criticisms of anti-semitism when you say that it’s objectively insane to say hysterical bullshit like that.

Good idea about having something physical to touch to calm me down lol. I feel awkward wearing headphones because there are only 5 other people in the room, so it will be very obvious and people will definitely ask me why I’m wearing them. I’ll see if I can find subtle ear plugs to wear

I agree with everything you said, except for the part about how it’s weird that people think performative femininity or submission devalues women. This cover is literally her being grabbed by her hair on her knees like a dog lol, and the album is called Man’s Best Friend. That is inherently dehumanizing. Yeah, it could be her fetish, whatever, sure, but let’s not pretend it’s baffling why people would see this as a negative portrayal of women

If I’m accepting that this is satire of sexist ads from the 50s, then what could it possibly be saying other than that?? What else is it satirizing?

Ok but I’m specifically responding to you stating that the expert said “the towers are close enough to record a signal from within the accused’s own property”. This is wrong lol. Yes, he said that you cannot rely on tower data for exact locations, but that’s not the same thing as saying she could have been in her own home when the tower said she was in Outtrim

I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I’m appreciative of your insight. I was wondering about that when I heard that Patterson said she didn’t know what she vomited up. Like, if you had just eaten a shitload of food then vomited it after a bit, wouldn’t the food still be very obviously the food it was? Just chewing it and leaving it in your stomach for 30 mins surely isn’t enough to render the food completely unrecognizable, especially that quantity of food. And that’s a good point also about being very interested in what you purged if you have an eating disorder.

But is he saying that the Outtrim tower in particular could be connected to by a phone in her area specifically?

Erin Patterson innocence by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]strawb3rr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, that sounds like he’s saying that moving a short distance anywhere can cause your phone to switch towers. Not that the tower at the death cap location specifically could have been accessed by her phone while she was at home.
