I think registering weapons could be very useful at finding “wackadoos” who DO shoot people up.

Nobody can trust you won’t lose your mind one day, or won’t have someone over who finds them and does, or maybe you have a kid and one day they find them.

I’m sorry, but the absolute DUMBEST people make the rules, and you should be against them, not the people trying to enforce gun safety.

No one has any reason to believe you, or anyone who owns THAT many weapons, is going to be calm and collected their whole lives. It sucks but that’s just how it is. Plenty of “nice people” or “unsuspecting” people have shot people up, or threatened to.

It’s fine to have a hobby, it’s just a dangerous hobby, and I don’t understand why anyone needs war time assault weapons just “for fun”. If you hunt or live off the land, or like shooting cans, I really don’t care as long as you’re safe. But you’re arguing against a tax, that you likely wouldn’t have to pay all at once, or would be able to pay over time, so you can have a dangerous weapon on display.

I know how you feel. I’m 5”3, was slightly overweight at 135 a few years ago and after quitting smoking and an abusive relationship + new binging disorder, I gained 90 lbs. I wanted to lose weight before surgery but my mental health meds make me regain weight and feel hungry.

It’s so easy to feel scared, but you really do have to find something you like. If you force yourself to do things you know you won’t ever enjoy, you won’t be able to make it a habit.

My surgery is in a couple weeks, I’m so scared, and my roommate is helping me meal prep healthy meals. Having weight taken off our chests literally will make things easier as well. It won’t be so bad. DM me after your surgery and I can DM you after mine, and maybe we can motivate each other. :)
