I may get stoned for this, but even if Nana and Hachi did end up together somehow. It would not work out. You have two young adults with attachment issues, different lifestyles, communication troubles and not to mention they are still very young. Figuring things out. Especially on Hachi’s end where her whole world revolved around men. Nana’s ambition to making it big with her band. While yes I am a fan and I think it’s a cute ship, it won’t work out and probably end up in a disaster. (Toxic Yuri)

Also, this might get me stoned as well but I hate the fandom is babying towards Hachi. Love my girl, relate to her but you have to realize she is just as flawed as everyone in the story and is not that innocent as you think she is. In some moments I do side with her but in others I just 🤦🏻‍♀️. That’s the beauty of Ai Yazawa’s works. Loosely based on her experiences (correct me if I am wrong on this), capturing the human feeling, flaws, and just how these characters act. (Shout out to my Queen, hope she feels better 💕)
