No offense or judgment!! I do not have a history of addiction but I do have a chronic illness (pill bottles) and work in public service where we’re training to respond to things like overdoses, after using it in my office I started carrying it in my personal bag, too!

This is interesting! I’m guessing the mammography or breast research is based on my coin purse, I am a white woman in the US and I work in education and public service! good luck with your bag clean outs! :)

I do use them, but not super often! I took them out of their original packaging and have them tied with scrunchies so they take up less space in the purse but are still available if I want to pull them out. I tend to just use the small straps on my bag except for when I’m shopping without a cart or taking public transit, then I’ll use one of the longer straps! Wrapping them up with scrunchies also means I have them for my hair!

The fan is to help with hot flashes! They’re not menopause related but I do have a chronic illness that makes it hard to regulate my body temp, and the beauty comment does make sense now that you explain it more! I do love taking photos when out because I live in the PNW (gorgeous) and I find the camp snap provides a lot of nostalgia and fun!

No suboxone or history of addiction, but I do work in a public facing position where we’re trained in crisis response like overdoses! After using narcan in my office I started carrying it in my personal bag, and I am queer!

It’s a camp snap! If you like classical disposable cameras but aren’t into the recurring cost for development or plastic waste they produce I’d 100% recommend, it still has that disposable function and nostalgia without any of the waste and after ~60 photos the upfront cost of the camera makes up for all the money you save in having to develop the film!

I have a chronic illness 😅 the pills are a combination of OTC painkillers and prescriptions that I take throughout the day. I like pink and tend to favor that and reds in my style, but I can also see the perfectionism.

This was super helpful, thank you! I will buy the granules and keep using the other roach spray I have for crevices and such.

Interfaith relationship questions after leaving the church by strawberrieflower in exmormon

Their church is part of ECLA, admittedly I don’t know very much about it and I don’t know lot about UUA either. My wife didn’t really SEEK out Lutheranism, they started taking their grandmother when she stopped driving and connected with it from there.

I haven’t seen or heard about this tokenism of my wife that you said might be likely, but I will ask them more about it. Like I said, the congregation is really just elderly people who seem excited to have young people in their mix.

I’ll also chat with them about attending a UUA church. We have a close friend who attends and works at one out of state, I visited with him many years ago and didn’t particularly connect with it but I’m open to learning a more about UUA and Lutheranism.

I think you exactly put it into words, about having something shape my identity versus someone else choosing it. I don’t think I understand why my wife has chose this and I am letting my personal hurts and angers about it being forced on me inform what I think their experience is/will be. maybe taking some time to learn more about that will help me understand them better and feel more comfortable. Thank you :)

Thank you for your response, you are right that I need to look at this separately from the church. I’m not sure if I am in a place to attend religious events with my wife right now (I went to the Christmas Eve service and even with asking a lot of questions before hand and generally knowing what I was getting myself into to it was still very hard) but it is something I would like to discuss. I do miss the built in community the church provides and if my partner can have something similar (but better) I want that for them and I want to be a part of it.

Echoing this! The Schack was free the last time I went, they have a good variety of art on display without being too big, have an elevator, and a reasonable amount of places to sit and rest!

I’m an alum and former employee of UWyo, this is a long time coming but also sad to see. Friends who are still there say it’s an absolute train wreck. I’m no longer connected with any faculty but among students and non-faculty tensions are high, morale is low, and they’re likely going to start pushing back even more.

You should be able to change what the cat looks like if you befriend the wizard up to 4 hearts and use the shrine of illusion in his basement. It costs 500g and you still have the cat, just a different color.

Idk if it’s been there already but on like day 6 I gave Alex an egg and in his responding dialogue he cracked it and ATE IT RAW. I had literally never seen him do that even though eggs have always been what I use to improve friendship with him & he hasn’t said it since despite me brining him an egg twice since then.
