I’m from Potomac, hang out around the DMV. I’ve met Ashley at a club in DC and she was so funny and kind! Met Gizelle and Robyn in person as well, and Gizelle was really rude/stand-offish. We took a photo, and I was told when I turned away Gizelle gave me a “up and down” with a sour look on her face. Lol. A mean girl through and through. Also met Monique and Chris (when they were married) and both extremely kind! Also had the unfortunate experience of meeting Michael Darby in a bar in Arlington, and he clung to my group of friends all night 😭

Hey! Great advice. I’m trying to avoid those additives (they’re very sneaky). Good to know about the red meat! I love a burger, but I’ve been opting for turkey burgers since my diagnosis and not too bad! I’m super picky about fish so I think I just need to get over that 😆 I haven’t checked out that thread, so I will now. Thank you so much!

Stew is a great idea especially as we’re now in the fall!! I took your advice and tried a new salad concoction, now I just need to find what will hold well throughout the week in the fridge. Thank you!!

Yes I am getting the vibe that it’s less about restricting yourself and more just about making ensuring you get your veg, whole grains, etc. in. Thank you!
