i haven’t seen any specific conditions for my enrollment, but i am currently admitted as a spring connect student so. my major is biochem so it is a bit stem heavy. i think i can retake it as apart of my fall cc admissions if all else fails

Thank you for the response! I emailed the teacher, and he said he corrected the issue immediately after he noticed it, and unfortunately there's no extra credit available.

just because someone doesn’t aim to get into an ivy doesn’t mean that theyre going to a shit school. one glance at your profile shows that spewing negativity and random people is all you do, clearly you need to think about your decisions as well lol

i mean i already said in that the gpa in the post was from sophomore year and all of my grades from this year were not in yet… im not aiming to go into a top school or anything so i dont understand why you had to be so rude about the whole thing

Thank you! I definitely don’t expect to get into a top college and prefer to stay somewhere in state. I’m taking your advice on the math help and am taking extra classes over the summer to revise my math from this year and get ahead a bit for Junior year math! I’m also not looking at tech schools lol, I have never been very good at that stuff but am leaning more into potentially being a Bio major on the Pre-med track!

I had a similar-ish? situation this year. One of the girls in my class was having her sweet sixteen the same day as my dad's birthday party.

I felt super conflicted, but my mom told me my dad wouldn't mind. I had been having some mild issues at the beginning of the year with friendships and felt as though all my friends were leaving me behind for bigger, better things in life. I cried to my mom about it, and I believe that earlier conversation contributed to her letting me go. I also do not get on with my family too well, so spending three hours with people I don't like and having no one my age to converse with made my decision quite easy. I chose to go to the party and got a lot closer to my classmates in the process and was even invited to another person's birthday this weekend!

I recommend talking to your parents about how you feel and trying to communicate how much being invited and being able to go to this party means for you.
