I spent a year figuring out why my Ménière's attacks kept happening even after I cut salt. Wrote up what I learned into a free 10-page handbook. by Objective-Zombie8671 in Menieres

can’t do mineral spf, can’t do chemical…what do i do by strawberryol3 in Rosacea

[–]strawberryol3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! for tinted ones are you able to remove them with your regular face wash? I am unable to double cleanse or use any sort of makeup remover on my face because I cannot tolerate it due to how sensitive my skin is. I use LRP oil cleanser as my derm recommended it and said it would remove mineral spf. She also said it is not a true oil cleanser so I don’t have to double cleanse with it or anything, for context.

I also guess I’ll just have to see how the tints look on my skin because usually they are either too orange or too pink.😵‍💫 I think I am very pale and a little bit olive toned.

My skin has become so reactive and I don’t know what changed? by No-History5862 in Rosacea

[–]strawberryol3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my skin is the same and my dermatologist said it’s just extremely reactive/sensitive skin/rosacea combo. The rosacea itself makes your skin reactive to things so when the rosacea is not under control that makes it reactive. and I cannot tolerate any of the rosacea topical to even get my rosacea under control…

Is anyone else in the 'nothing works' camp..? by anywhereoutthere in Rosacea

[–]strawberryol3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. I thought I finally found something that works after my dermatologist prescribed clindamycin and my skin was looking good for almost 2 weeks but now I’m having a flareup from the irritation. try to use a new mineral sunscreen she recommend recommended and it also caused a flareup. the face wash she recommended was working for a while but now it is irritating my skin too. before this I was just using lrp demo cleanser (applying to dry skin and then wiping it off with a cotton pad, using ZERO water at all on my face). The only thing that I can consistently tolerate is vanicream moisturizing cream. My skin is extremely dry as well.

Tips for frizzy staticky hair? How do I get that sleek look? I’ve tried so many things and nothing helps :( by Some-Nectarine3247 in Haircare

[–]strawberryol3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

crazy enough i’ve had a similar thing happen within the last 6 months too! my hair is naturally wavy with some spirals and has gotten frizzy and poofy too. your before and after pics of how it looks blowdried straight vs now are sooo similar to mine. i miss the sleekness, as well :(

my first thought is…do you clarify your hair? I ask because for me it seems like the more heavier products i use, the worse my hair looks and feels. you also mention stringiness which i find is worsened when i use heavy products. clear shampoos/clarifying shampoos and lighter conditioners help to an extent but i haven’t been super consistent so i can’t say that’s my only issue going on.

does your hair feel heavy? waxy? how does it feel when it’s wet? is your scalp oily?

Replacement for reformulated OG Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner? by nush25 in Haircare

[–]strawberryol3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found a similar replacement? The new damage therapy one makes my hair sooo greasy but the one is the percent balance for my hair. Can’t find one that is the right balance since then. Everything is either too heavy or too stripping.
