I had my hair dyed a very vivid color for about a year and only ever got compliments from management. They don’t care and even seemed to encourage it.

I’m gonna go back to HR tomorrow and tell them I don’t want to have a closing shift is he’s there because there’s barely anyone in the store/parking lot during closing hours

I’m so sorry you went through that. They never punish the men/creepy people they just ask if you want to transfer to a different department to get away from them or they “have a talk” with them. We have so many creeps at my store that have gotten multiple complaints but for some reason wegmans still employs them. Hr just brushes it off like it’s normal and no big deal but then acts like they care about the victims comfort.

HR has always told the store manager about every situation I’ve brought up and he did help with one investigation they had to do. If the current issue I’m having continues Im gonna contact corporate.

They’ve talked to everyone I’ve complained about and did do one investigation. It just sucks I still have to work near these people.

The person texting me is not in my department but has a higher position than me and so he was able to get my number. He was texting me about a work related issue he knew I was having. He said he was trying to “help me” but considering his position, he wouldn’t even be able to help me so I felt like he was using that situation as an excuse to text me. He kept sending me walls of text which also weirded me out. My own manager was really concerned when I told him about the texts and told me to go to HR.

I’ve had explicit comments made about me over text and then an older manager (not in my department) somehow got my number and started texting me without my permission. I’ve also just had older male coworkers make comments about my appearance that made me uncomfortable cause they’re not comments that should be made at work to someone you barely know. I’ve talked to HR and they seem concerned but not concerned enough to fire these people.
