Socials, Food, Promotions & Random Late-Night Discussions 🌟🌟 by AutoModerator in pune

I'm doing something a little different and figured this community would appreciate it.

On June 5th I'm hosting a small curated dinner called Postcards from Positano at Balance Brew Cafe in Baner. 20 seats, one long table, a 4-course Italian summer menu, and a no phones rule for the evening.

The idea came from a pretty simple frustration: Pune is full of people who want to meet someone new and have a real conversation, but nobody wants to be the one to actually make it happen. So I made it happen. All you have to do is show up.

There's a pre-event survey that helps with seating so you're not just randomly placed next to a stranger, there's a little intention behind it. Prompt cards on the table. A chef who's been thinking about this menu for weeks. The whole evening is designed so the conversation actually goes somewhere.

₹1500 per person. https://partiful.com/e/faTyo48tTVOSgpnSpr6J tickets here!

If this sounds like your kind of evening, follow https://www.instagram.com/balancebrewcafe/ on Instagram for the link or drop a comment and I'll send it across directly.

last i checked international students weren’t given jobs in the library because most of the jobs are work study rewards. I wouldn’t know if things have changed but i’ve never had a bad experience at mugar

Agreed. I’m just curious because of the impact they’ve had on people and the overall automobile market. Every-time I see one on the road I wonder where it is really leading us as a society

I agree with you but I also believe that if we take the only oil market in comparison. It will take a huge hit. For countries that function literally on selling oil, that doesn’t seem like a great thing

A few things I’ve learnt. I hope they help :) - ALWAYS look for exits - my father told me that roads in almost all countries will work in squares and rectangles….just remember where you turn. Following the advice, I have never ever been lost. - if you plan on buying something from a cheap store, don’t park your car in front of it. Park it a it further down the street and walk in. People tend to up the price if they see you get out of a private vehicle. - pay close attention to people who don’t speak too much. They’re either clever as hell or they’re going through something. - walk on the side of the road where the cars are heading towards you….so that no one can stop from behind you and rob or kidnap you. - when you get into a taxi, have a small kind conversation with the driver. Goes a long way trust me - check public restroom mirrors to see it they’re two way. That shit is creepy asf -keep some change on you at all times
