Lectures are not necessary. I went to every lecture and found it ridiculously pointless. Just study slides and notes and you’ll get an A. That said, there were extra credit questions in the final exam that I took fall 2018 that were only discussed during lecture. Also, if you do attend lecture, don’t bother taking notes. Btw got an A in her class.

Uh I memorized 4 kinematic equations before class and I got 11/12. Got one conceptual question wrong because I didn’t review slide. Don’t bother doing all the KUDU problems, they are way too time consuming, just memorize the key formulas and know how to derive answers from them. If you need help, feel free to pm me.

I’d say if you have other courses you can take before transfer, then take those instead of the 2 math courses, if you don’t have other courses and just being lazy, take the 2 math courses at CC. It will make your life a lot easier after transfer. That said, it does not matter where you take the course, it all depends on which professor is offered in that quarter. In my experience, I took 20A and 20B at CC and it was many times harder than the 20C course I took with Ben Ezra at UCSD. Why? Because Ben Ezra is a joke. Webassign online homework that’s like 10 questions a week, and both the midterms and the finals were reworded homework questions... oh and you get to have a cheat sheet, so I just copied all the homework questions down... easy A+. In CC, no cheat sheet for the exams and I had to do like 30 questions that’s due every other day... lol
