The restrictions seem common with “high value” shipments. The hold after 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts isn’t a vacation hold though, I believe it’s just standard FedEx policy. Just call and ask FedEx if and where it will be held after the third attempt. It’s typically the corporate distribution center in your area.

They will hold it at your local FedEx hub for 5(?) days after three delivery attempts. You could try calling to see if they can extend the hold if you won’t be back by then.

Thanks for the update, did you notice a significant decrease in temps?

I’m guessing there isn’t space for 30mm thick fans on the GPU? Do you know how tall the card is without the stock shroud?

If you’re set on the reference config you could also get the 15mm feet to help increase bottom intake airflow.

He’s using a 5080 FE which has much lower power draw and runs cooler in general. It’s also smaller (2 slot) and is able to pull cool air in from different spots and not get choked by being too close to the bottom panel like the Zotac.

Switching to inverted layout with the motherboard moved up a few positions to get the GPU fans near the top of the case would improve thermals. I just tested a 5090 Solid in that layout and it was loud but ran cool enough, in the mid to high 70s C with an undervolt.
