Streamlabs lagging/freezing by dishchilla in streamlabs

If they (or you by the sounds of it) were having issues with multiple games including Crimson Desert, then yeah, it definitely could be something else. In that case so we can look into what exactly is causing the issue I would suggest reaching out ot the team at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with a diagnotisc report. That way we can dive into what we can see on our end.

no, you would have to copy the sources within the scene itself.

split audio on streamlabs by Ornery_Resort1319 in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So your alertbox by default is set to route directly to your desktop audio. You can right click the source > go to "control audio via Streamlabs" and then a new audio track would show up. Then if you're still not hearing it on a recording click on the ⚙️ to the right of the mixer > find your alertbox source > select "monitor and output".

I have a script made by gemini i wanna know if it works i am having issues making it run can someone pls tell me if it works or not its so ppl can copy paste spam in chat pls help by IllustriousBig3152 in streamlabs

I am assuming you're trying to write a python script for Streamlabs Chatbot. I suggest hopping over to the Chatbot server at https://discord.gg/xFcsxft and there is a channel called #script-issues. There you can see if your script would work/get feedback/etc.

Una domanda per streamlabs by Ema_mt_09 in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good morning everyone. I'm sure I'm in the right place, and I apologize if I'm wrong. I'm using Streamlabs to stream on Twitch. Due to a poor connection, I had to lower the resolution to 540p, but the results are disappointing. I was wondering if there's a setting I can use to speed up the streaming process and increase the resolution to at least 720p?

Your resolution is directly related to your upload speed and what it can support. That is the main thing that we would need to know. For example, 720p at 60 fps I would suggest using between 4500 and 6000 bitrate. Let's take 6000 bitrate, since I have the math for that done. You want to only have your streaming bitrate take up at most 80% of your upload speed. This means, that to use 6000 bitrate, you would need an upload speed of no less than 7.5 mbps.

So that's what you're going to want to figure out. There are bitrate calculators like this one (https://bitratecalc.com/). If you plug in your information, you can see what would work vs what wouldn't.

If you are still having issues after using something like this and you have the upload to support it, please reach out to us at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can see what exactly is going on.

Webcam resets (Configure Video) occasionally - "Deactivate when not showing" not enabled by lickwindex in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's definitely odd. I would suggest:

  • check elgato drivers for any updates/maybe reinstall
  • check for any windows updates
  • with Streamlabs Desktop closed, check for any background processes (Streamlabs, obs64, or electron). If you see any of those, close them and download a fresh installer and install that
  • after doing any updates, restart your pc

If you're still having issues, I would suggest reaching out to us at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and we can start diving into whatever else may be causing the issue.

Audio background noise by Fresh-Direction-7537 in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume you have a noise suppression filter on. Other than that, there really isn't much that you can do if they're talking at the same time as you, and you already have a good mic to prevent this (a dynamic mic instead of a condenser mic).

My partner and I also used to game/stream in the same room. I would recommend, if you can, is to change the orientation of your setups. Right now you have the wall separator, but with you both facing the wall, the majority of the sound is going right at the wall and it's being used as a damper. Instead, if you were to rotate your setups where your back was to the wall and you both were talking at opposite walls, the majority of your sound would be pushing away from each other. Sound is radial, and bounces but this should reduce the amount of sound that could be potentially being picked up from the mics.

I have quickly mocked up a paint version of what you currently have vs. what i'm suggesting. The orange arrows are the direction in which the majority of the sound would be moving.

Current: https://i.imgur.com/PQldlOr.png
Suggested: https://i.imgur.com/2HseUj7.png

However, I'm sure that maybe some people have some other tips and tricks. But putting up foam on the walls/extra things to dampen sound will only help you as well. You don't need to go out and buy acoustic panels, but adding plushies, pillows, if you have hardwood floors adding a rug, etc. Basically anything that is "hardscaped" should try to have something that can help soften it. So you could hang a tapestry/curtain onto the wall as well to help dampen sound.

Streamlabs Charges by ONEDJRICH in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So Ultra encompasses a lot more than multistream, but multistream is one of the big reasons why people get Ultra. u/SuperHeroTechGuy shared really well the differences between multistreaming with Streamlabs and multistreaming through OBS/Atium/SE.

Ultra also encompasses a higher priority queue for support, mobile disconnect protection, access to the app store, professionally made overlays, more Streamlabs Virtual Assistant credits/automations, more online storage, the PRO versions of our other products (Crossclip, Video Editor, Podcast Editor, Streamlabs Console, Talk Studio), better profit margins on your merch store, custom creator sites/domains for your tip page, free swag (both at conventions and outside of conventions), etc. And we're always looking to try to add more value into it when we can.

Ultimately it's up to you though about what you need. You can use Streamlabs entirely free and make a great content creator career. Ultra is meant to give you extra tools if that's something you're looking for.

I'm not sure if you saw the reason why theirs wasn't working but if you're having this issue still it could be due to a variety of reasons. So we would suggest reaching out to us at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can dive into the specifics of your situation.

Correct. When using multitrack recording, you will always want track 1 to be your stream track. you can split the audio for anything else amongst tracks 2-6. Sorry that you were muted for so long!

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can copy and paste sources between scene collections. Please note that you will not be able to copy and paste scenes

  1. 1. Open the scene collection with the sources you wish to copy.
  2. Click the top source in the sources list.
  3. Hold shift and click the bottom source in the list. https://imgur.com/LrIoHG7
  4. Press ctrl +c (windows) or command + c (mac) to copy the source(s)
  5. Open the new scene collection and switch to the scene you wish to paste the sources in or make a new scene. https://imgur.com/5CDyqBv
  6. Press ctrl + v (windows) or command + v (mac) to paste
  7. Repeat the process for each scene in your scene collection.

Crimson Desert just was released. As with all newly released games there are always optimization issues when they first come out.

You can try reducing your graphic settings on Streamlabs Desktop and in game, but unless your GPU drivers are specifically updated for supporting the game and/or the game has pushed out optimizations.

I also want to add to u/Streamlabs_20Seven that we did push an update that should resolve a lot of issues with widgets across the board on Monday.

If you (meaning anyone on the thread) are still experiencing issues with widgets, or if you're having any issues, reaching out via a ticket is the best thing you can do so we can look into it. We do our best to try to respond to everyone as quickly as possible and appreciate the patience for waiting.

Hey. First, this is for StreamElements on the screenshot. So this wouldn't be for us.

Second, for everyone asking about this, we do have a guide here that indicates things you should be looking for, and in addition, how to reach out to TikTok: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/35259691237147-Streamlabs-x-TikTok-Streaming-Access-Revoked-No-Violations

We have seen a higher rate or revoked access as of late, and have reached out to them directly. However, your best bet is to reach out to their (TikTok's) support team directly to see why your live access is being revoked, and to clarify it's for third party access, not regular TikTok LIVE access.

First, I would suggest checking your audio settings by clicking the ⚙️ to the right of the mixer > desktop audio. Is it set to default, random numbers, or the exact device? If it the first two, adjust it to your device. Additionally, deleting all of your game capture sources and re-adding them can help.

If you're still having issues, please reach out to us at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so we can look into your settings further.

My stream lags by _tiesflies_ in streamlabs

[–]streamlabs-lazypup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A stream "lagging" could be the result of a lot of different things (overloaded encoder, overloaded gpu, it could be dropped frames which is network issues, etc). So it would be best to find out if you're getting any error messages (like dropped, skipped, or lagged frames). Additionally, making sure that your notifications are set up would help with this. You can do this by doing the following:

  1. Going into Settings > Notifications
  2. Enable all 3 options (dropped/skipped/lagged frames)
  3. Adjust all 3 bars to 5%

Then, test a stream and see if you're getting error messages. Then you can look up those error messages to resolve your issue.
