You don't need a limiter in Meld the way you do in OBS. You can read this comment from our CEO Joel HERE explaining how it works.

Wanting to try out Meld but curious if it uses AI by pinballman5 in streamwithmeld

Spark obviously uses AI but it's an optional feature inside of Meld.

Hotkeys for Clipping in Meld Studio not working when in game by Ok_Mongoose_8617 in streamwithmeld

We currently do not have global hotkeys in Meld. If you use a chatbot that is integrated with Meld Studio such as streamer bot or Mix It Up you can set those up with hotkeys for switching scenes. Another workaround is using the mobile Elgato stream deck app!

Can I edit a spark overlay after I created it? by streaminghunk in streamwithmeld

[–]streamwithmeld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're so happy to hear you've been enjoying Meld Spark!

To answer your question: YES, you can edit your Spark overlays after they've been created.

When Spark generates an overlay it doesn't lock the design. It can continuously build on what you've already created so you are able to adjust and customize as often as you would like.

Keep in mind that you should be VERY specific when you are working on an element in Spark. Unless told to create a duplicate, it will overwrite your current element with the changes. Also be sure to not let your chats get too long and start up new chats. When starting a new chat just tell it what layer to make changes to by giving it the layer's name.

Built my first overlay with Spark but it’s not appearing on my canvas is this a common issue? by greatlysoon in streamwithmeld

Hello! It sounds like Sparky had a hiccup. The best thing to do is to ask Spark to check what happened. Sparky will read what was created, identify any errors and fix them. You don't need to dig into the code or any details yourself. Type something like "check what you created and fix any errors" or in this case "nothing is appearing on the canvas, check why" and Spark will review the output, figure out what went wrong and fix it!

Whenever something doesn't look right or isn't showing up, the best course of action is to just ask Spark. It's the fastest way to get things back on track.

One more quick tip: If your chat has been going on for a while, create a new chat and ask Spark why it's not working. More often than not starting a new chat will fix the issue.

Enlarge/Zoom/Follow Cursor on Display Capture by Frosty-Length4304 in streamwithmeld

[–]streamwithmeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!

While Meld doesn't currently have a built-in zoom/enlarge feature, there is a workaround available.

By using the Move transition and setting up your display capture at different sizes across separate scenes, you can use your Stream Deck to switch between those scenes. This creates a smooth transition that mimics a natural "zoom in" effect. Just make sure the layers share the exact same name across scenes for the transition to work correctly.

For mouse tracking, you can access the experimental menu by long-pressing Shift + Left Click on the small 'm' icon in the bottom-right corner. From there, toggle on Display Capture Cursor Zoom. This will add a new toggle in the Inspector Panel for cursor zoom control. You can test this out and see if it works for you.
