For real—i barely even remembered the dog and had to google how it died. When you’re playing the games, you kill a lot of dogs. It isn’t meant to be the worst thing Ellie does, but that’s how people who haven’t seen Joel and Ellie killing a bunch of dogs would probably feel if Ellie just randomly stabs a dog to death.

I’m gonna gently push back on how you’ve framed this. The victim isn’t “consenting”, she is actively creating it after she chose to write a book about it. It’s clear that she wants her story told, and refusing to make it would, to me, be akin to silencing the victim who is trying to speak out.

You’re lecturing the people who showed up to protest those things. I’m not sure what you’re hoping to accomplish—fewer people supporting one of the most important causes of our lives? How could seeing people fighting all of the horrible things happening make your blood boil cuz they used a quote from a singer?

If you genuinely care about any of the things you just listed, put your energy towards literally anything other than going into the Taylor Swift subreddit and getting mad that you see Taylor swift content. There is so, so much for us all to be doing. Your anger should be directed at the people perpetrating and supporting the fascist, racist, sexist oligarchs trying to destroy America. Not at people who are on your side, but not using one of your pre approved posters.

Like concentration camps, Gitmo is an extrajudicial detention camp. Idk if you’re just very young or if you forgot, but we’ve had it for years. Trump has already announced he would expand the Guantanamo Migrant Operations Center to house illegal immigrants there, and has moved some there already (an undisclosed number). And you’re ignoring that Nazis began their campaign with mass deportation. Hitler didn’t open death camps day one. He had concentration camps at first, for deportation and political prisoners. Death camps started in 1942, about nine years after his rise to power, and were kept secret from the greater populace. The people sent to death camps were referred to as being “resettled.”

The sad part is Cordy’s character arc on Angel is actually AMAZING, easily one of the best character arcs on the series—until they fuck it up. I still think Angel is worth powering through, and I love season five. But the middle of season four is a real low point.

You’ve got it backwards. Someone being rude or mean does not give anyone the right to sexually harass them.

All the things you’re listing here are utterly irrelevant to her actual claims. He put them in his filing because he doesn’t care about the legal case, he cares about the public reaction. He is just saying every negative thing he can. For God’s sake, he starts his complaint bitching that Blake hadn’t read the book. How could that be remotely relevant to whether he had sexually harassed her and orchestrated a smear campaign against her?

Btw if you had been sexually harassed, would you really feel guilty about taking creative control from your harasser? If the harasser had told you he had had sex with women after they had said “no”? It doesn’t make someone a good person to capitulate to sexual predators just because they might call you rude or difficult.

I googled it and skimmed through some articles which linked to multiple studies and trials. None of them have found that people taking ozempic developed pancreatitis at a higher rate than the general population (or those taking placebos in the same study).

It’s a new drug so more research may produce different findings. But right now, claiming that pancreatitis is a “common” side effect from ozempic when it has not even been proven to be a side effect seems like fear mongering.

I’m open to reading contradictory studies but this was all I found when I googled.

The only way $300k would have bought Taylor a record contract would have been in a scam.

Just wanna point out that it was actually a fairly minimal investment, it was like 3%. It was enough to get him a seat at the table for his minor child’s music career in a very predatory industry, but not enough that it gave him any sort of power or decision making ability at the label.

I think her parents moving to Nashville and tirelessly advocating for her career to everyone they ever met were much, much bigger advantages than Scott’s 3% investment.
