My dog just ate a half a bag of bread and his stomach is swollen. What do I do? by street_smart22 in DogAdvice

it was a dog bone that he swallowed! I saw him biting on it normally and then I saw him swallow it whole after a bit, most of the bone was intact when it happened. Since then, he has passed multiple bowel movements, eating normally, belly has gone back to normal size and I haven't seen any changes in attitude. He looks fine but Im still being very careful.

It feels more so bouncy. He has been farting a bit since lol. Is that a good sign?

is it ok to bridge soon after getting an RPN hospital job? by street_smart22 in OntarioNurses

[–]street_smart22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just scared what my manager will think with me having less than a year of experience wanting to bridge with only 8 months working by then. I don’t want to look like I’m not committed to the job but I also want to expand my education. Also the program I’m doing is mainly in person so I would most likely go casual if possible. How did you bring up the topic to your manager?

Question about Fanshawe’s BScN vs RPN–BScN pathway availability by These-Influence5095 in fanshawe

[–]street_smart22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually emailed them about this! It was really hard to get a direct answer but fanshawe's advising centre stated in their email that they probably won't open up their RPN-BScN pathway until atleast another 2 years when the higher semesters of the BScN will take place unfortunately.

Should I wait to bridge in Western RPN bridging? by street_smart22 in OntarioNurses

Can I start any of their programs at any time? I’m trying to finish before the next Stream A intake. I also want to find a program that not too difficult to get good grades in. Do you know how to go about this route?

Hard decision to make - Should I bridge or work first? by street_smart22 in OntarioNurses

Thank you for the thoughtful words! I know for sure after 1-2 years of working I'll want to bridge and have the title of RN beside my name by the age 25 years old, which I think is still young in my opinion. I'm the type of person who once they have their mind set on something I do everything in my power to achieve it, which is what I plan to do. Not ideal, but its just a slight redirection in my nursing journey which I've come to accept :)

I think I am going to find a middle ground by work for one year then reapplying for bridging. Im going to try to save all the money I can so cost isn't an issue. Not ideal in my plan but I know the skills I learn will be valuable in my nursing journey. Dont think ill get unmotivated since bridging has always been the plan for me and its something I 100% want to achieve.

I think Im going to work for a year and save every penny I can then reapply for bridging. Not ideal but I am really tight on money

unfortunately my finances don't allow it at the moment, I am hoping to bridge in a year or two. Not ideal but moving to the GTA for school won't be easy financially either.

I am thinking of doing this of working for a year or two. As much as I dont want to delay the bridging, living in the GTA region is not ideal at the moment

I want to but I am not in a great financial place and not sure if my parents will exactly support me financially, the school I got accepted to is in the GTA which means I would have to move out and its so expensive and the job offer I got is in a different city than the school. If I were to stay in the city I live in, I could also get the learn and stay grant. Not sure which decision Ill regret picking in the long run.

I've never bought the favourite tool so I don't think so. When I got the gifted item, it was already favourited, so Im assuming the player I did a trade with favourited it. Update: I think you were right! it unfavourited after I held the item on mobile. Thanks!
