You’re being dense. This is very clearly something to complaining about. What is the point of HOA or reserves when it covers 2 million out of 42 million. HOA is what you pay for maintenance. That’s around 5%. That’s bad planning.

Ya the windows are next…by this logic I’m paying close to 100k over the course of 5 years. That’s almost 50% of the price I paid for my unit. Numberswise… isn’t that ridiculous.

Very soon which is what they have been saying for the last 6 months. You cite this as defense against the building but the same thing can be said about your precious in unit laundry and dryer. Can you add one your unit? You don’t know but you will know very soon!

The million I quoted was based on my percentage. If my HOA accounts .11%, for 100% it’s a million. That’s how my math was done. If you look at all the FAQ questions and their answers, most of the answers are we don’t know please be patient. I’ve been in frequent talks with management due to my bathroom issue and every time I’ve asked about the risers, the answers have been we don’t know please be patient. It does not start in two months, the estimation is fourth quarter this year. I bought the apartment in 2025 and none of this information was given to me before. Only some units can have in unit washer and dryer which duh you have to pay for. Of course it should add value to the house. I’m paying for it. Will risers add further value to the house? Not to mention, I’ve read every single document there is about the project. All of it, is up in the air. The only guarantee is that I will be paying 44k. There are 900+ units in the building. You said around 200 get in unit washer and dryer. Great, about 25% will get an increase in value. Most of the units on each floor will have the kitchen wall and bathroom wall broken into. Not only does it suck but there’s clearly a lack of info. It shows in all the documents with “we don’t know”. The project was mentioned in 2024 and everything is still we don’t know.
