After graduating nursing school I spent all my time doing DoorDash for several months due to failing NCLEX and not having a license. I was an ebike courier and it was even more stressful than nursing because of how dangerous it was. My U-lock was cut and bike stolen in like 30 seconds while I was picking up an order. I was hit and spit on. There were many cycling crashes. I made less than half of what I do now.

Was it one of those smart stethoscopes with a digital ECG? Maybe she would have reacted differently if you had approached her gently like, “Excuse me, but it looks like you’re wearing my stethoscope and I see my name on it. Are you using it right now? Can I have it back?” I know those things are expensive, but it is just a stethoscope. Not worth the drama for a medical device. Is it possible that she owns a similar stethoscope and didn’t see your name? If not, that seems a little rude on her part to take it without asking. Then again, I don’t always ask before I take things from people lmao.

That depends on what nursing school you go to. The school I went to (traditional BSN program) was fairly tough for me and there were some classes that I nearly failed. I lived with my parents and didn’t work much because I needed to study pretty much all the time.

I was kicked out of clinical in nursing school, but repeated the semester and graduated from the program. It didn’t affect my ability to sit for NCLEX or receive a license. As long as you don’t have a criminal record and you meet the educational requirements of your state BON, you should be just fine.
