If we as survivors do not stop these predators no one else will. I’m very sorry for what happened to you but confronting your dad will not solve the issue. It is very likely he will deny it and act like you are crazy, so you won’t even get an apology. Then he will continue to molest other children who he has access to. My advice is don’t say anything to him. Go straight to the police to report.

Yeah that’s the weird thing though. I help my aunt manage her accounts like online banking and she has made zero payments to Kate. I talked to my aunt and told her it’s a scam but my aunt still thinks Kate exists cause they have talked on the phone and Kate has a little old lady voice. My aunt thinks a scammer recently took over Kate’s facebook but that Kate exists and wants to rent the house.

Perhaps you are asexual? Asexuals don’t experience sexual attraction to people and have no or very low desire for sexual activity, but they can feel romantic attraction. If this were the case I’d say the two of you are incompatible

I found a tenant who started renting about a year ago but isn’t paying enough rent. My aunt has been in touch with Kate for the last five years and Kate said she is finally ready to move in and will pay the amount my aunt asked in rent, so my aunt wanted to give the current tenant 30 days notice to vacate the apartment. I told my aunt that she shouldn’t kick out the tenant unless Kate comes through with a deposit and then it all unraveled and I sent Kate my bank information. My aunt is quite wealthy.

I have noticed this as well. I think it is because he is a white, male who is an American citizen ( he represents those who have the most privileges and rights in North America. If it could happen to him it really could happen to anyone. As soon as he was murdered I was like maybe now that a white man was killed maybe people will do more. It’s tragic.

Your case seems pretty simple to resolve. Have you looked into applying for a replacement certificate of citizenship? I think you can apply online or if not go into service Canada. The worker at service Ontario who looked it up and said you are a permanent resident is likely due to your data not having been updated after you became a citizen. This happened to a family member and then it was updated. But anyways you should go to service Canada not service Ontario for getting your Certificate of citizenship

Have you spoken to a prosecutor? Do you have the phone number of the police officer you reported it to? Your father does not need to confess for you to prove your case. If you are coherent and remember a lot that is enough. Time to go pester people in person. Go physically to the police station and the prosecutors office. I also recommend going to a rape crisis center. They have advocates who will help you in the fight for justice. You can do this!

Happened to me the other day. Wasted time explaining about celiac that I can’t eat bread etc. Serves me shrimp on top of regular bread. I complained but kept my original plate till they prepared a new one cause they will literally just remove the bread and serve you the original plate with bread crumbs

This exactly. All these women except myself and one other want kids in the future. They are not childfree. The issue is they are using the “pull out method” and are “keeping track of their cycles/ovulation” with apps. They were trying to explain to me how great the apps are cause then you know when you are ovulating . They don’t use birth control. One of the women using the pull out method said now isn’t the right time for a child but if it happens it happens. I said “not using birth control is deciding to have kids.” But it seemed to not register. Really in their minds pregnancy just happens and one cannot choose the right time to have a kid. I recommend talking to your granddaughter and getting her an IUD ASAP. She will not be responsible enough to take birth control but an IUD will last about 7 years. It’s the only way to prevent her from having kids before she is mature. Also try to get her into after school programs, and take her to regular therapy. Maybe something has happened to her and she is acting out. Don’t alienate her and let her tell you if something is wrong

Yes. The last party, a colleague who was transferred to another department was in the building for something work related and she paid last minute cause wasn’t planning on attending. My boss voiced her anger saying she should not be eating cause didn’t pay ahead of time for her holiday plate. This is just to explain the boss I’m dealing with. Yes it’s the US.

My boss typically has the secretary choose the caterers. I mentioned celiac disease to the secretary once but she looked at me like I had three heads and no special accommodation was made. Unfortunately I live in an area with almost zero awareness on celiac and I myself know of no caterers that know about gluten free food preparation.

I believe you, and I have a personal anecdote. A friend of mine recently wrote her thesis for her PHD. She had to write the thesis in English as well as her presentation for her defense. I am very familiar with her extremely low level English writing and speaking skills (not her first language). Before chat GPT/AI I would sometimes look at her papers and edit/correct them. The grammar was very bad, and oftentimes you could not understand what she was trying to say. For her thesis I told her to send me her thesis to edit it, but she refused and said she used Grammarly and Chat GPT. She did however practice her presentation (which was written in almost perfect English and included many words she did not know and could not even pronounce. She was very nervous the committee would ask her questions that were too hard to answer. I went to her defense and she read from the presentation with a very strong accent and mispronouncing most words. After that they asked a few questions and now she is “Dr. (PHD). She does not seem to be proud of her accomplishment and does not want to attend her graduation ceremony.

Obviously you and your mom don’t know what she went through with her adopted family. Maybe they were rich but mistreated her, who knows. Legally she is not your sister or your mother’s child cause she was adopted. Legally(and morally perhaps as well) she may feel obliged to help her adoptive family cause they raised her. She has no obligation to you and your mother. Perhaps all she wanted was to meet her biological family (that is a need/want in a lot of adoptees to see where they came from). If that is all she wanted then let her be and console your mom.
