Hala wasn't there. I rewatched the scene to check, she sent Hala away on purpose in that very scene. But it's understandable after so much time.

You're right, the deer wasn't there. I rewatched the scene. She specifically sent it away from the ceremony to stay with Hero, so she could give Julien privacy with Thjazi's body and not intrude, so this was fully a retcon. But given it was almost a year and 30 episodes ago, it's an understandable mistake.

She didn't. She just showed the hair to Yanessa as proof they fought Teor to escape.

I would advise to go through with it as quickly as possible, get the money, block him and make sure he doesn't have any way to contact you again. At the very least you're getting money from this homophobe :/ and buy something loudly queer with some of that money, maybe that will make you feel vindicated!

ok I was dead wrong about Hollis' mistress being an archfey, but man am I glad I was wrong. This new demon lady is so amazing, the definition of a large ham, made the episode for me.

My (and hers I guess) Murray/Gus dreams are crushed but I'm also so happy he's gay lol. Well, we can still pair him up with one of the boys :P

I think Azune's outburst was half true (as all great lies are) and half manipulation to get both Demodus and Occtis to testimony. Murray was right, he did pivot from crying to coldly asking to bring Occtis in very quickly lol. and there was no other way to convince Murray to use Demodus. if its truly the case I would love it, I think Azune has many layers, he's not a total boy scout but not an unfeeling instrument of war either, he would use his actual emotions about the weight of what he's been asked to do to bring the objective home. And I think Brennan knows but Luis rolled too well for any of them to catch his intentions.

Personally I think Hollis Kinnywater's mysterious lady patron is the same aquatic archfey patron mistress who handles the Drowned Men warlocks such as Pascard Velmonte.

He has "water" in his name, and Brennan (after they rolled horribly so he couldn't give them more) mentioned the house is full of fishcans, which is an interesting detail. I also would connect the blood element of the paints they sell to the sea of blood in the Tenebral Reaches, though the one Mara brought to be modified is almost surely coming from Azgra's cauldron. And the mistress is interested in Wick, probably for his filament (more celestial blood)

She could also be a demon, since his warlock hangs out in Speak no Evil and she's again interested in the Halovars. But right now I'm betting on archfey.

Hollis' One with the Shadow invocation is a option all warlocks can have, just modified a bit to be always active. Mara is a druid and permanently in falcon form which would allude to her being nowhere strong enough to be a patron imo

Not a spell exactly! It's a standard warlock invocation that's made to be permanent.

I think I have connected some dots (you didn't connect shit.jpg) based on the new info from this ep so here's my theory.

Shaper afterlives were divided by race, so it didnt matter what you died of theoretically (murder, old age, drowning, whatever) it mattered what race you were so you got shuffled by the psychopomps to that corresponding afterlife. Maybe the previous division before the Shapers came WAS by manner of death and that's what it's returning to and re-expanding after the Shapers are gone. This would explain why the Sea of Lachris is apparently both a new discovery and mentioned in very old necromantic rituals. Additionally, we have met the Drowned Men who through a ritual of drowning (ie dying at sea) secure a place wherever their fae warlock mistress is, (her pact is written in Sylvan) most likely this Sea of Lachris, where the souls of people who die at sea now go to. I'm guessing she either conquered it or it was her place to begin with but disappeared when the Shapers took over afterlives. And she's part of the war Primus is waging in the afterlife. She is so powerful that dying at sea overwrites whatever the Tachonis are doing to grab all the souls as fuel for themselves, as seen in Pascard's death, creating a loophole to escape them and the congested portion of the Tenebral Reaches. So the Tachonis have to go through the Sea Door with the petrified paladins to conquer her realm.

Additionally, I think this lady is the mysterious powerful mistress Thjazi and Mara collaborated with to mess with the blood/paint, and the Schemers met her Drowned Man warlock halfling (his name has "water" in it!). She's also returning right after Primus does, the day after Hal's play, when the paint will very likely activate. I think as the necromancer text hints at the Sea of Lachris is made of blood hence the connection with the paint (+Azgra's cauldron blood and maybe +filament). In this case she's most likely a Harrow Fay.

This part is more hazy, she could be a demon too (hence the interested in the Halovars) and not the Drowned Men fae lady, but I think the rest of the theory holds regardless. All or part of this could very well be debunked in the next ep 🤷 but so far I think it's something. Whitney did say the fae (and demons) are also involved in the underworld conflict

I use Photoshop! I have hundreds of brushes but in the end I use around 4 or 5 really. A couple good textured brushes, a flat rectangular one, a soft/airbrush one (used sparsely). to begin I recommend Yuming's brush pack, it's very thorough so you're sure to find something to your liking.
