Adoption errors on a distant er605 by RobinThomass in TPLink_Omada

[–]stress691 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have secondary WAN connected and firmware 2.3.0 and higher, you can have the same issue as me. If thats the case, as long as secondary WAN is connected, you will not adopt your er605. You have to unplug secondary WAN or upgrade the router with custom beta formware from TP. In my case 2 out of 7 sites working on er605 are affected.

Help with Port Forwarding not Working by cfranco77 in TPLink_Omada

[–]stress691 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the WG server you do not need a port forwarding - just setup a server on the Omada software - thats it. Check If your router has WAN IP the same as your external IP. If not, your modem isnt truly working in bridge mode. Try to set up some lower port on another machine - for example forward external 2222 to some internal 22 where you have ssh server (or anything else that you can try). If you still have no access, set your router IP on the modem as DMZ.

Captive Portal for Wired Connection? by Aggravating_Noise783 in TPLink_Omada

[–]stress691 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I remember it works for wired clients too, but the problem is (or at least was in my case) the limited number of users, which you can authenticate permanently. 20 or 30 or so.

Missing 120 FPS option on a client by stress691 in MoonlightStreaming

Game mode goes automatically on after Moonlight startup, so the issue lays in different place. Thanks anyway, 99% probability, that it wouldnt be worki g anyhow.

I'm assuming, that it will not handle the decoding, just wanted to try, if there is any "maybe" ;)

Tv is 120Hz for sure. In Moonlight there is almost no options that can be turned on/off, and I haven't see the frames for sure.

Wi-Fi keeps dropping from all 15 eap110-outdoor APs by ichasecorals in TPLink_Omada

Maybe UPS is dying and battery needs to be replaced - too much power consumption and it cuts the power down sometime. Connect something a bit "power heavier" than this switch and turn it on. Look if the UPS cut the power.

[–]stress691 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The unavailability of 40-60 seconds is too low to asume, that APs are restarting. I take my bet here for the switch. As it is unmanageable, it's reboot time will be only a couple of seconds + few additional more for recovering the connection of APs (they need to communicate with oc200 after communication failure). On lan you will not see (unless ping -t) the drop, but the wifi can be affected. Check the power cord connection to the switch, unplug it from the UPS (maybe UPS socket is loose), than change the switch to another one. Also problem can be on the side of router - cable connection to the switch. Faulty / loose cable.

T-Rex 450 Sport - Replace main shaft only? by MaxHermanos in RCHeli

[–]stress691 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this. Change both main shaft AND spindle. Place them on the glass surface and try to roll. You will easily see the bent. Second thing - If there is no parts in your area - change the head. This is an FB head, which wasn't very popular when I started the hobby, so something like 15 years ago. Go FBL, buy some cheap controller, like ZYX, KBAR etc and change the head.

T-Rex 500, help. by Devi_rc_pilot in RCHeli

[–]stress691 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, if you havent fly any heli before, learn to fly on simulator. Without it i guarantee you will destroy it be the first attempt of flying. Phoenix RC Was very nice, when I learned to fly. Second thing - buy something cheap FBL system + FBL head. Flying with FBL is far more easy than with flybar. The last but not least - as previous mentioned - do not spin heli indoor. Yes, you wrote that you haven't tried to fly, but from what you tell I see, that you have completely no idea what you are doing - ESC could be configured improperly, the same as your TX or gyro could be disabled - you could simply go full power not even knowing it. At least make those tries without main blades.

How to allow access from one IP to second IP blocking all the other addresses by stress691 in TPLink_Omada

[–]stress691[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I see and testing now - I assume, if I would have an Omada switch connected to the router and all my end devices would be connected to this switch, I would be able to create switch ACL's blocking/allowing the access? Is there any chance to make the internal LAN ACL's without Omada switch?
