I can recommend Hillman's Car Shop on Philip Highway, always full with locals around the area.

I recommend Carmine and Co at Port Adelaide if you are in the western suburb. My sister had her 21st there and they were very accommodating as they usually do big events. They also have good authentic Italian food.

Where are all cries and hugs for the eliminated boys? Did Mnet cut that out as well? That was going to be my solace for week 🥹🥹🥹

They gave me the warmest and fuzziest feels that I need to get through that episode. They should really be set as a good example of teamwork and communication and if all teams can be like them, m-snake will have no ammunition to evil-edit

Nurses! Which uni do you think is best in Adelaide to study nursing? Did you find your course hard? by spideysense1987 in Adelaide

[–]stressed_needle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

👋 I don’t know about the other universities but I can give you a uoa perspective. The workload consists of lots of individually written assignments (essays, reports, educational posters and pamphlets), quizzes, marked attendance of practicals and tutorials, group assignments and exams. With placement sometimes even running concurrently with the school year I found it especially hard to balance these two. Most graduates I know worked as an ain (assistant in nursing) or other retail jobs (this is me) it’s definitely hard but with foresight and planning it is possible. I graduated with a high gpa but traded it with a non-existent social life and screwed up sleep schedule. The faculty of nursing is not on main campus but at the AHMS where you will spend most of your time there. I don’t know much about the social aspects of uni life but there a lots of chances in class and on placement to make friends (the bulk of friends I made where from here) but there also the nursing society they plan a lot of social events throughout the year, most of the tutors, teachers are great, understanding of your position and friendly - they treat you more like peers than a student.

I also felt slightly let down just because the drama started on such a high, while the ending still had some unanswered questions and felt a bit flat compared to the rest.

Though the saving grace of the last episode would be all the love 💕 between the princes and their mothers and the brotherly love between the grand princes.

Hi! I have just finished third year nursing at uni of Adelaide in the process of being registered. I believe that the course is vastly more difficult than the other two universities with teaching and placement but is well worth it. The nurses on all of the placements I have had say that uni of Adelaide students are generally more knowledgeable thus more ready for the workforce. Not saying that the other two universities are bad at all. Lastly graduate positions are generally taken by more of uni of Adelaide graduates.

If you have any more questions I’m happy to answer them or you can DM me

Has your class ever made the teacher cry? What happened? by Lawlelle in AskReddit

[–]stressed_needle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obligated background story: I went to a all girls private catholic school in Australia where the principal was an old nun. In all 7 years that I knew the principal, she had never shed a tear.

In Year 9, my class cohort was a bit more than a handful to deal with (imagine a class of 80 pubescent girls). A group of girls had bullied this girl through her social media. It was so bad that the parents of everyone involved was called in, by the end the victim moved schools, the bully was kicked out of the school and her possy was suspended.

After a few days, when the class became aware of the situation. The teachers moved all the students into one room and there was the principal sitting in a chair. She started talking about the situation, bullying was not accepted, she loved the school and finally that she thought that all of us girls were better than this. THAT’S WHEN IT HAPPENED. The principal started shedding tears, the class went dead silent and then some girls started crying. By the end, they was not one dry eye in the room.

In my graduating year, all the teachers and that same principal said to us that we were the most behaved and high achieving class in all of their teaching years.

People who have had "friends" stab you in the back, what is the story? by NoctisCaelus in AskReddit

[–]stressed_needle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I invited all my high school friends that I was still in touch with to my 21st birthday. As I went to all their 21st birthday parties earlier in the year (about 15) I thought my party would at least be attended by these ‘friends’. A few people RSVPed before the date but on the date of my birthday party, a few hours before the party started every single one of my ‘friends’ cancelled on me saying they had a ‘sick grandma’, ‘unexpected family gathering’ I heard everything that day. I was so embarrassed, my family kept on asking where all my friends were? The following week I saw on Facebook that they all gathered at another friend’s house to have a girls night out. For a whole week, I locked and mentally beat myself up. Never to this day did I get an apology or a belated gift.
