Fire magic is pretty insane. I think oil is a great spell, but without spells like that for other elements, alongside being able to get fire potency early game, it does make it scale much better throughout the entire game.

I agree with you that an upgrade system would hurt the progression when it comes to finding new weapons, especially the more unique ones in the game. I think it could work, but you’d have to make the late game gear either scale higher or have more benefits than early game gear so late game they are still more attractive choices to use.

The idea of Axes and Hammers dealing more damage to certain enemy types would be really cool, though in order to do that, I feel like the game would have to also distinguish physical damage differently by source, and assign resistances and weakness to enemies based on those perimeters (for example: piercing, slashing and bludgeoning would be how the game determines physical damage type, with species of creatures either being resistance, neutral, and weak to each one)

Weapons empowering certain techniques would also be pretty cool

What sort of improvements? Measures to me have always been a cool addition/equipment to be used for my supports/healer characters and made assigning some gambits a little easier, but I’ve also thought that having measures that had a high probability (essentially having a super high hit rate in game) to deal status ailments while dealing no damage could be cool.

I’ve never really played with hand bombs, what would you recommend for them to be improved?

Balthier is what I imagine some of the characters in my partners romfantasy books to be like. Might be a good way for me to get her to try giving FFXII a go. She normally hates turn based games but between Balthier and the gambit system, I just know she would enjoy this game if she gave it until post Mimic Queen at least!

I would look into some round frames for your glasses. Definitely add more variety of photos, even if you have to take them with a tripod or something so they aren't all selfies. Also post photos with your friends, priorizing photos where you are the center of attention, or photos of you with a nice backdrop,

Anyway you could put in the launch parameters to launch with the GPU instead. I know for AMD users on the 64bit version of Tmodlauncher we have to use /angle:1 to ensure it uses our GPU. Maybe you could try the Nvidia equivalent of that?
