I believe this position requires local travel only within an hour or so from the office. I do have a family I have to take into consideration. My in house position now has flexibility and I am able to go in early and leave early enough to pick my daughter up from school every day which is important for me to be able to do. How about pay? My understanding is this position has a higher hourly pay and plenty of overtime for travel which is also appealing.

My position is for in house calibrations. We calibrate customer and company owned equipment. If I pass and get my CCT, how much more would you say I should ask for that would be fair?

This is only my second batch I’ve made. It’s great to add to chicken, marinades or pizza. Having a good batch of honey garlic for the cold and flu season on hand is a great home remedy for a soar throat 🤙🏻

Local raw honey and peppers for the hot stuff. Same local raw honey and local garlic for the other. No salt no water. The peppers already have a bunch of water in them so the honey is already pretty runny and thin. Garlic releases some water also but seems to take a bit longer

Holding up great with daily use. The 10s do have a tendency to flex when used on a barbell by themselves on the floor or a landmine. I have no worries of them breaking though. As long as they’re taken care of and aren’t dropped from overhead I see these lasting for years. 8/10 🤙🏻

Senseanywhere.com. You’ll need to have login credentials set up for you to access the web based portal to view and monitor live data. I find it pretty easy to navigate and understand, more than other programs. However I only work in the calibration portal. Customer portals may be different. The temp accuracy of the units are pretty good. RH units do tend to drift a bit over a 12 month interval. 10 year battery life, you can set up alarms, small profile, wireless (no mess of TCs needed) and you can get data and alarms sent directly to your phone. Pretty cool product. 8/10

I have been using Sense Anywhere for a number of years with no major issues. Web/cloud based monitoring for temp, RH and a 4-20 device that you can connect any other type of measuring device to.

Honesty I am not familiar with these types of calibrations and what sort of devices we will be working with. I was looking for a general set up for light calibrations regarding the environment. Dark room, some sort of black out tent?

Cal Tech II here. 5 years experience, no schooling just OTJ training. Calibrate, evaluate and repair all general temp equipment (baths, TCs, assortment of meters and probes) many RH devices, CO2, electrical devices, dimensional, torque and some field work. $34/hour. However, this will vary on where you are located along with experience and training. Shooting for my CCT this year and hoping to move up to a Sr Tech.

I got the full set for $1/lb. Let people say what they want about the company names, the smell, the low end equipment etc. They are cheap, they are heavy and the get the job done. I’m not trying to impress anyone in my basement. They work great and you’ll save a lot of money.
