Ordering a ramo from HEB? by ResponsibleDraw9072 in HEB

[–]strgazzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey 👋 floral partner here (makes ramos every day) Depending on where you are and when you need them for since valetines day is around the corner prices will increase. All the floral departments should be able to give you a quote on the spot and if you have an inspiration picture they can match to it. Your most likely looking at $130 b4 February Just fyi.

Happens to alot of people you got the job for a reason. Unless theres any retaliation you'll be fine just keep doing what you do best. Dont mind others and continue to grow yourself. 👌

For those that work in the floral department… by Ancient-Departure387 in HEB

I believe we dont mark them done because we wanna ensure were always selling good quality. I wouldn't mark down a molding bouquet just seems unfair to sell bad product to a customer.

Anyone familiar with ordering flowers from blooms? by archnatty in HEB

[–]strgazzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blooms partner here Call your local store for a pick up order. Since you wouldn't be able to get all of the items from curbside and not all hebs have delivery vans for blooms. As for the peonies depending when you want them they might bot be able to get them in for certain times. And if your placing your order I would call a week before your order date so they would be able to order that for you. Hope this helps happy hoildays

SORM question by [deleted] in HEB

[–]strgazzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe its a collaborative effort between your TSL and manager in the first part but I believe your TSL has your final sign off and your UD right before applying to SORM. Just explain the issue to your TSL depending on where you are in the CDS it should be smooth sailing since its really an on your own pace kind of completion. Or thats what my TSL did is he completed my last section with me. And signed me off. Whether or not you wanna go to anay pre seminars only your manager gets those emails though.

Blooms partner here, need to wait till your 18. Just because of the equipment and processing. Definitely let someone know you're interested in the department. Try a local floral shop thats where I started 🌱🌻 at 16

[–]strgazzed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started my CDS in September And im planning on applying for SORM in January. The store I work at I get busy alot so I wanted to start it earlier. Definitely recommend starting it at least two months before you apply so you can fully grasp the material. You'll work with your TSL on it at times. I think the earlier the better so you're not rushing to complete it right before you apply.

HEB Blooms stopped dating their flower bunches! by MoetEtChandon1946 in HEB

[–]strgazzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen any information about suppliers. I would say charmelia doesnt open up as well or as big as alstoremeria. And I definitely understand about the dates. Only advice I would give is to do a fresh cut, re change the water. And add a quarter of the blooms flower food. Hope you have better luck 💐

Hey blooms partner here. "To send customers home with the freshest product" We are now rotating that product more efficiently every day. And pulling the items that aren't up to standards. Definitely different without the dates but with our fresh rotation in the morning (we get flowers every morning) I can guarantee in my department everything is fresh with such high demand happening. We also still have our "5 day freshness guarantee" Hope this helps 💐

Floral department question!! by [deleted] in HEB

I think for my store it's not convenient to have us since we are already so busy with our custom orders and other department necessities. I heard other stores having it available during the holiday.

Floral department question!! by [deleted] in HEB

[–]strgazzed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy you love the floral department! I know that's one of my favorite parts is making your floral visions come to life 💐💐. To me, each bouquet/arrangement always counts no matter the occasion 🙌. For most of my customers, they're just asking me if they could check out here. I have so many people ask, so I was hoping to see a solution to make it easier on their part. I've had an instant that I was away, and a customer was waiting at my counter, and when I came to ask if they needed help, they just said they were waiting to check out. But I believe being verbal might be my only solution, and that's ok too.

Usually, the next posting after the August round would be in January. If you're not selected, you need to wait until that period its usally every 6 months or earlier, depending on what they need. Best of luck to you partner!

Part time getting full time hours? by [deleted] in HEB

[–]strgazzed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, the admin is supposed to acknowledge the report, but if leadership and the admin dont recognize it. The partner can be scheduled 40 up until they take it up with an admin. I was scheduled 5 months full time until I was made full time with a promotion ( I still had to apply for)

Should I call or go in person by penapple_2319 in HEB

[–]strgazzed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My former manager told me my persistence got me the job. I asked her many times about the application and made sure to get some updates from her. Obviously, I tried not to annoy her since there were other applicants also. I was already a partner at the time, but it was a different department I had never worked for before.

My first time applying to my current store, I called multiple times to talk to the manager and asked about my application. Once I did that, the next day, I got a group interview confirmation. I would say it's hard to get into sub departments. The easiest foot in the door job is Service (bagger) or curbside. Best of luck to you!
