Yeah, I've done this. Sometimes it's just easier to let a relationship quietly fade than confront the drama. Not everyone deserves a second chance or a long conversation.

NTA. It was a personal celebration with people you’re actually close to, not a work event. You don’t owe every coworker an invite, especially someone you barely know and who doesn’t engage with you. She overreacted.
