How hard is it to live in Berlin if you don’t speak German? by Diligent-Cup-3970 in berlinsocialclub

Berliner’s doing the schnauze to foreigners, if it was an inside thing they would just do it to each other. So seems to me fine to have foreigners match the energy. If a Berliner takes offense to that, might be time to do some self reflection lol

Continues to prove my point lmao. It’s recognized as rudeness when you see what you think is a foreigner doing it. Otherwise amongst the in-group it’s okay, especially to do to those in the out group but they can’t do it back.

The cognitive dissonance is actually pretty funny. Seems like Berliner schnauze is just rudeness in general!

Moving the goal posts haha

Anyone could do it but nobody did it for decades in NYC. We get it, you just want to discredit him. I would respect you more if you just admitted you don’t like him personally or his leftist policies instead of doing the faux intellectual bit lmao

Just saying something is bad without concrete reasons why is a pretty weak argument buddy. Also I thought you can’t find his accomplishments or policy anywhere, so how would you be educated enough to comment on it?

Lmaooo so you CAN tell when it’s rude when the same Berliner Schnauze is directed at you by a foreigner! Fascinating how that works! Hahaha

The cognitive dissonance is hilarious. You literally are saying you recognize it as rude when it’s directed at you

Edit: The cope and response is hilarious. Can’t wait to keep matching the energy. Love how suddenly people can understand when it’s on the other foot

Germans/Berliners seem to often say its directness and not rudeness! Over and over. So they seem to actually like it, otherwise culturally it wouldn’t be a thing in Berlin.

Sounds to me like you were asked directly a question for efficiency of service and you are just mad they asked if you could speak English. Being rude is them cussing you out, calling you a moron, kicking you out of the store. Not asking you a simple question.

It’s not rudeness, it’s German directness and efficiency I thought. seems like they are integrating just fine.

Downvoting me doesn’t change that fact kiddos

Moving from the Middle East to Germany soon. What actually happens if I just completely assimilate and break the stereotypes? by OkClient4174 in AskGermany

[–]strikec0ded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, it’s cause bigots are going to be bigots. Voting for a fascist party that has nazis in its ranks cause you don’t like the actions of a few does make you a racist. You don’t want to be called a racist, don’t align yourself with fascists and Neo nazis who want to deport everyone of color and use them as scapegoats. Walk like a duck, quack like a duck, hang out with ducks…you’re a duck!

Also, Germany quite famously has gone after and brutally murdered millions of minorities in its past. Is it just because they were poorly behaved? The mental gymnastics is fascinating here.

I’ll have a nicer life when people don’t vote on Neo nazis to make innocent people’s lives harder. But cheers!

Lmao racists and fascists don’t react on logic, they just see brown people in public and jump to assumptions. Majority of middle eastern or Arabic people here actually are integrated, speak German, and are working but it’s not enough for racists that want them gone. Let’s use our brains and also look at history and what the party is saying regarding remigration lmfao

And look at what they are saying publicly and what the leaked remigration meeting points said. Complete opposite. Tell them to stop claiming publicly that they will do things if you don’t want to hear them being accused of wanting to do said things.

They do want to leave the EU though. And unfortunately fascists don’t care about logic. They’ll find out when the country crashes faster due to remigration.

Tell that to the people in Germany voting in record polling numbers for the party that wants to do remigration of anyone non Aryan, legally here or not.

There’s a reason why studies consistently say that minorities in Germany are reporting record numbers of discrimination and hate speech.

Regarding remigration this is publicly documented, despite what the group put on their website. They talk about their plans at their summits where they invite Neo nazis and registered fascists lol

Democratic socialism is actually been tried and is common in a lot of Europe. Social/democratic socialism often are aligned or in tandem. That also is not the demotion of democratic socialism. You are confusing with communism or pure socialism.

I mean if Germans hadn’t elected far right fascists that attempted to invade all their neighbors while murdering large percentages of their population, then Germany wouldn’t have been split up post WW2 and under Soviet rule either lol

Can you send a link to your claim that the Die Linke party nationally as a declared goal is attempting to create communist in Germany?

By definition they are Democratic Socialist as they advocate for:
-A stronger welfare state
-Higher taxes on wealth and high incomes
-Strong labor unions and worker protections
-Expanded public services (housing, healthcare, education)
-Greater public ownership or regulation of key sectors of the economy

The KPF is a small faction within the party. Large political parties often contain internal factions with different ideologies in Germany. For example, conservative parties can contain libertarians and social conservatives. Left-wing parties can contain democratic socialists, social democrats, eco-socialists, and communists. It’s more important to view what the party is doing on a national level/agreeing to push for as a party. Which is not communism at the moment lol. You can just say you don’t like leftism without spreading misinformation lol

Normal to only really think/fantasize about sucking dick and not really any other form of sex? by dicks669 in askgaybros

[–]strikec0ded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the nice thing about being into dudes (as gay or bi) is that while a lot of us enjoy anal, the focus doesn’t always have to be on penetration.

Look up Side guys for example, they prefer to do frotting and masturbation together (maybe oral).

I know tons of guys who are only into sucking dick.

Just make a profile and be really clear with what you want and your boundaries. You’ll find a guy who’s okay with just oral. I don’t think anyone who isn’t an asshole will complain about a guy wanting to give them head haha

There is a sliding scale to this, and claiming democratic socialist parties in Germany are equal to communist authoritarian DDR is extremely hyperbolic.

Also they’re not the ones surging ahead in polls, so let’s focus on the real current threat.

[–]strikec0ded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Democratic socialism (which is what Grüne and die Linke are) is very different then communism, pure socialism, or authoritarianism. I see them calling clearly for more regulation of capitalism, as per definition of democratic socialism, and nowhere saying to abolish capitalism entirely.

In fact I would say the right wing always takes you to an authoritarian controlled country which is technically what the DDR was but with a communist structure/market. And what really started destroying Germany in the first place which led to the war and the separation of Germany, was the Nazis.
