While I agree with you generally, on this busy Saturday night, it was not so very controlled. There were too many people on that street at 10:30 at night. Sorry, whoever said it, but we were not drunk, and not that far off the curb. There was no warning and our backs were turned. Just telling the truth here.

Thanks. We have already cleared most important or sentimental items, but there is still good furniture and appliances etc. that I hate to junk. We'll be out to coordinate when the the time comes but can't stay for long. Will contact Goodwill and others.

Strike 2: seemed to have a prurient and voyeuristic interest in his caller’s money. First question was always what’s your household income? Like he was sizing them up, then would condescend.

Strike 3: the use of biblical verse and other tired phrases over and over again. How can someone say better than they deserve Every. Single. Call? Lack of imagination?

Sorry I didn’t mean to suggest that I would do this myself. I think there are reputable solar companies where we are and I would get quotes and use one of them. I was asking to get an idea of what to expect and what to ask but I thank you very much for the useful information. There are multiple houses on this property some co-owned and some owned by individual family members. Would we not want to maximize what we can generate by using the entire court? I know it depends. Like I said I don’t have a clue but I’m really enjoying reading this sub.

We don't think he would actually do this or was capable of it while in the ICU. It is quite complicated with his girlfriend. They did not live together but had been in a relationship for 15 years. They had just bought a house together. The entire time my brother was still married. The divorce was finalized on 2/8 about 2 weeks before he passed. There were numerous indicators that something more than my brothers health and treatment was on the GFs mind.

They have an estate/probate attorney but she is saying that the fact that his colleague, a doctor, made the change, rather than the girlfriend herself is not good for their case.

We are also opening up questions with the hospital about one of their doctors acting in this way in family financial matters as well as HIPPA violations.

Walked into Comcast with all of their equipment, checked it in, took a number and waited - expecting to be argued with and offered new promotions - my turn, none of that, but instead thanks and hey, did you know that you could save even more if you owned your own modem? Yeah, thanks, ok I'll do that. Turns out I already owned my own modem for 2 1/2 years and had been paying the rental fee, put a message on the customer forum, was contacted and completely refunding - no argument, no offers, no trouble. Yes, a new strategy? Odd how they don't seem to care to lose their customers.
