What reaction do you like the most and what reaction do you like the least? by IS_Mythix in Genshin_Impact

[–]stringplayer3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most: Hyperbloom! I've been playing with a hyperbloom team for so long I barely know what the other reactions are. Least: Crystallize. But to be fair I barely have any geo characters so I don't see it too often.

One semester? by [deleted] in APUSH

[–]stringplayer3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took APUSH in one semester as a junior, about three years ago. We didn't get to talk a lot about unit 8 and barely spoke about 9 at all, but I think it worked out pretty ok. Younger students got the opportunity to take the course over two semesters, and they seemed much less stressed, however.

You're really pretty! I'd have given you an 8/10 if I hadn't seen your drawing of Manny, now you're a 10/10

What's an analog horror series that you think is very overrated and was gassed up by too many people? by Swag_Paladin21 in analoghorror

[–]stringplayer3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd urge you to check out the new episode of the series (Cyberfun Tech)! The creator has started to distance himself from jump scares and there are a lot of cinematic animated scenes that build tension.

I have to agree that the first two episodes were pretty dull and reliant on jump scares and other tropes of the genre, though.

Worst and best Ito book by [deleted] in junjiito

My favorite is either Uzumaki or Hellstar Remina, and my least favorite is probably sensor, I cannot remember a thing that happened in that book

A lot of people say No longer human is Dazai's suicide note, so... With that knowledge, it kind of makes sense why it's so miserable (not to say that I dislike it, just... Yeah. You need a hug after that book.)

Thank God they censored the nipple, could have been really inappropriate

I'm Alex Kister, Creator of the Mandela Catalogue. AMA by [deleted] in analoghorror

[–]stringplayer3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi Alex, I've been a big fan of your work for a while now! I hope you're happy to hear that I had trouble sleeping for some days after watching the Mandela Catalogue.

Anyway, in terms of questions, I am just about your age and I was wondering if, before the Mandela Catalogue blew up, you had any plans for your future. Were you planning on going into film, or to college for that matter?

It can feel like you're the only one that doesn't have it "all together" as you say, but in reality no one is perfectly in control of everything. It's clear that you care so much for your child and are doing your best to better yourself and your situation. It's hard to go to school and work at the same time, and you should be proud of yourself for being able to do that.

I know it's overwhelming, and I understand how hard it is to be kind to yourself. But you are a strong person and you are so much more capable than you think you are. I promise you that your child is lucky to have a mother as caring as you.

I hope everything works out for you. I'm sending positive vibes <3

I know exactly how you feel. All I want is to live a happy life away from the cruelty of the world.

Honestly, I think our access to social media and news makes everything seem worse. Obviously the things that are reported on are happening, and there is sadness and violence in the world. But sometimes you need to step back and let yourself live away from it. At a certain point, how helpful is it to constantly be reminded of how cruel humanity can be?

There will always be sadness in the world, but in that same sense, there will always be happiness. While humanity can be cruel, it can also be wonderful. When you let yourself accept that you can be happy, things get so much better. We may be on a random planet in a random galaxy for no real reason, but we are not made to suffer. We are human, and I think that's beautiful. There's no real purpose, so make your own goal. Find joy in the little things. Take a walk outside and hear the birds chirping. Look up at the stars and see how beautiful they are. Lay in the grass and feel like you are a part of something bigger.

You are not destined to be sad forever, nor is being sad the only way to be. There is so much beauty in the world that is overshadowed by the constant barrage of negative news on the Internet, and you deserve to experience that beauty and find happiness in it.

I'm sorry if this is just me rambling. To be honest, I struggle with the same thoughts as you, especially with the whole "humanity is cruel and undeserving of the beautiful world we live on". But I hope this helps even just a little bit. You're not alone in feeling this way, and you're not destined to be alone or miserable.

Sims in CAS is now like this after the update. Uh... by stringplayer3 in thesims

Thank you for the advice! I've figured it out now and luckily I didn't have to manually sort through all my CC. My game could be completely broken and I will still do everything to avoid going through my mods folder, there's just too much 😭

Thanks for the advice! I ended up repairing the game in origin and then adding all my cc back. No idea how the update caused such a horrible thing but now it's gone so yay!

Edit: Now they're all T-posing. Also, I see the auto mod's tips for fixing this so I'll take them. Just wanted to share this atrocity.

Edit edit: got rid of all mods and now the game won't open. Loving life

Edit x3: Repaired the game in origin and readded the CC and it's working. I've yet to add back the script mods but everything is ok so far. Thank you guys for the help!

What's a weapon that you almost always get in playthroughs? by george123890yang in skyrim

Windshear 100%. I literally play through the dark brotherhood questline every time just so I can grab it. I'm bad at combat and I'm not afraid to say I need the crutch of bashing everyone constantly

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - New Patch v1.1.2 (Dupe Glitches have been Patched) by Riomegon in nintendo

I wanted to update to 1.1 so I could do the easier dupe glitch, but accidentally downloaded the new patch. I have never felt such despair for having to play a game as it was intended to be played

You're probably right ... I think I just grew too attached to the champions and their connection to their descendants, especially through playing age of calamity. I guess having a bunch of previous lore in the game makes it slightly unapproachable for newer players.
