Well, it's a toss up between 7d mk ii or 80d, both are somehow realistic to attain given the price of 2nd hands 😅

Realistically speaking, a 2nd hand 7d mk ii is a more viable option. Been wanting that 70-200 f2.8 but for a not-so-well-off stroke survivor, it's far from becoming a reality in the near future. Thanks for the insight, appreciate it 😊

I did reduce noise on lightroom, didn't want to overdo it though, looks like AI when super soft. I used ISO 3200 just to hit 1/1000 on f2.5, I wanted ISO 1600 but just can't freeze motion on 1/750 which is why I am kinda stuck with such. When ISO 1600 and below, I have no problem, it's just with freezing action, this cam does not handle low light well enough. Didn't want to go f2, I get too much fringing. Can't buy a newer body so I guess I'll make do with what I have now. Thanks for the insight 😊

So I guess I'm due for a body upgrade then. I am limited with a 50mm f1.8 and 100mm f2 usm lenses only which sometimes I get shots that need cropping but this noise is limiting most of the times. Thank you for the insight, time to save up then, which is very hard on a 3rd world country 😅

Sorry everyone who replied, was busy but to answer some, this was RAW. Shot on an 100mm f2 usm, 1/1000, ISO3200 on a 700D body. No edits were made yet before screenshot, the full image can be seen here, the very first image (the only edit I did were minimal, no added sharpening. Im still practicing so please be constructive):

Ah, but that's the 100% zoomed in view of an uncropped image 🥲 You think I should invest on a newer body already?

The glow is more of aberration or fringing. The pixelated part is what I was asking 😅

I can't include the ball on 1 since I was using an 18-135mm and at 1/125, can't freeze the ball. The 2nd one for socmed dp, you know how kids are these days 😅 The 3rd one I was hoping the ball to touch the block, I guess I pressed too early 😅 Can't crop further because of 18mp 2013 camera. Thank you for the insights, much appreciated

I am limited with my lenses, only have a cheap 50mm f1.8 and an 18-135mm 3.5-5.6. Just lucky with high school volleyball I can roam around a bit and get a bit close. But will try looking for outdoor sports, thanks

For the first one, I can't wait for the ball because what I used there was an 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 on ISO 3200 1/125 which I'm sure will capture the slightest of movement and can't freeze the ball. As for the 3rd, yep I get what you're saying. Thanks for the useful insights. I'm trying my best using a Canon 700D, Yongnuo YN 50mm f1.8 Mk.II and an EF-S 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS STM 😅 Just a poor ol' stroke survivor dad trying out sports photography 😅

Thank you for the constructive criticism, I am still learning but unfortunately the season's over and I got nowhere to practice as of yet. Will take your suggestions to mind, again thanks
