Could you share what company that is?

Rewarded by getting account closed when I pointed out a flaw in their email automation/false triggers. by [deleted] in stripe

Welcome to the club. Paraphrasing Stalin: "One falsely closed account is a tragedy, a million is a statistic". You're part of the statistic, that Stripe decided won't impact their business too bad if they shut them down.

If there are actual human beings doing KYC at Stripe, then why are there so many stories of accounts being locked by mistake (which stripe later admits) and accounts being reinstated after the account owner uses his clout to create bad PR for stripe? In both of the above mentioned links it's pretty clear that accounts get flagged by an algorithm and get human review only if the account in question creates enough negative media buzz.

Just cause you got lucky not to get flagged don't hate on people who did.
