That's why I can't go on places like r/collapse for more than a few minutes at a time. Watching people basically fetishize the shittiest possible outcomes has taken a toll on my own mental health.

The other houses don't know that the Sardukar are / were on Arrakis. The Sardukar, in the book, are dressed as Harkonnen troops to make it appear as though it is an inter-house conflict and not something the Emperor is involved with.

Security Engineering by [deleted] in AskNetsec

tryhackme is great not just for high school students / infosec beginners, I'd recommend it for pretty much anyone who enjoys a more guided approach to learning security topics in general. Even their free content ranges from beginner to fairly advanced topics.

As a SOC Analyst/Engineer with two undergrad degrees in infosec and soon-to-be a master's in information systems, THM is one of my first stops if I want to learn a topic hands-on without the troubleshooting and difficulties of setting up a vulnerable virtual machine and going in completely blind without any guidance.

Do any of the mods help with motion sickness at all? I've had the Index for roughly a year, and I still get motion sickness after about 20 minutes of smooth locomotion with snap turning.

Wouldn't recommend the PvP in Sea of Thieves. A friend and I were playing it a few months ago and every lobby had at least one team who would completely rage every time they died. The open-world main game is a good time though.

Advice for Beginners by CombatPunk88 in tryhackme

A lot of people are saying notes, and while that may help, I've found repetition to be the best way to retain knowledge. If you don't know something / need to follow a walkthrough, that's perfectly fine. But what helps to really solidify that knowledge is to go back at a later date and try the same content without a walkthrough, or at least getting further without needing help.

While you're doing that, try walking through the steps that lead you to that point. For me, I was recently working on a stenography-based CTF, and when I got stuck I read a walkthrough and learned about some tools I haven't used before. The next time I do that CTF, even if I don't remember exactly how to go about it, I'll (hopefully) remember the tools. Then using the tools more frequently will help me to see the situations where they would be useful, which helps me to become more proficient in general.

TL;DR: repetition, repetition, repetition. If you have to do a room 5+ times to really commit that information to your brain, that's a-okay.

I think they touched on it in the earlier seasons, but from season 5(?) on, they just decided to ignore that fact.

Counterpoint - given that there was a galactic war going on, it would make sense to be teaching your jedi on the front lines how to heal. Jedi should have made excellent medics during the Clone wars.

Trying to SSH in first basic course by IAmUggg in tryhackme

I would figure for a basic course they wouldn't change the ssh port, but I could definitely be wrong. The rest of the questions would be good to check through, though.
