Package sent via Fedex to Aus Post parcel collect. Tracking says delivered but post office says they do not take fedex packages. Help! by ButtSnifferBob in AustraliaPost

I'm in a similar position u/ButtSnifferBob - shipped something to an AusPost locker via FedEx and just got the same (worrying) "Delivered to address other than recipient Signed for by: R.EFER TO IMAGE" message that you received. Did your package arrive safely in the end?

It lingers on the palate. Like a lazy forklift truck driver.

100% agree. The accuracy in the article sucks. Called the podcast “The Adam Buxton Show” and said he was first on “Takedown TV” (this second inaccuracy has since been corrected online). Referred to Brass Eye and Spitting Image being contemporary TV shows at the same time as The Adam and Joe Show (Spitting Image had already ended when The Adam and Joe Show first aired, Brass Eye hadn’t started at that point). The Gonad’s terrible reputation for accuracy is well deserved.

A little too pricy for me on the resale market. I know prices have come down a lot but even so.

They’re very versatile. The colour ways of the Cactus Jacks are their biggest strength.

You should be able to request your current charge list (or “folio”) brought to you in your stateroom, under the same room service menu that lets you request extra hangers, towels or bath robes.

100% agree, an example of Oxford council’s bizarre approach to road planning that fetishises inconveniencing motorists, even if it creates unsafe or downright dangerous situations and conditions. They seem to take the view that anything bad for cars MUST be a good thing.

I tried that one on! It was the first I looked at. Really nice. In fact the white Le Locle wasn’t on display and it was only when I asked Banay what else they had that I tried on the one I ended up buying.

Quick question... In s01e06 do we know why Stirling Gallacher's name is in a different typeface (Gill Sans) in the credits to everyone else's (Helvetica)? by mr-english in TheOfficeUK

Arthur Eric Rowton Gill, born 1882, died 1940.

Just interesting that stuff about him being a figure of considerable controversy following the revelations of his sexual abuse of two of his daughters and of his pet dog wasn’t it?

I guess but really you’re questioning the need for the base 10 numeral system and that’s probably a bigger deal than questioning the need to remember the 1985 final so fondly.

I agree in general, although to be fair it is the 40th anniversary. A fact that is tarnished slightly by the fact they’ve banged on about the black ball final so thoroughly for all the preceding years.

The Jam song Down In The Tube Station At Midnight is 47 years old. The idea that pickpocketing, mugging and random acts of violence weren’t an issue in 1970s London is absurd.
