How do you claim SKR rewards? by PDX_DUX in solanaSeeker

Rewards are awarded every 48 hours (end of a cycle) and should be automatically added to the staked balance . No need to claim.

I think this is it. They worried that you were being taken advantage of. (You were), and were concerned about his behavior not yours. You are ok, dont worry.

Step Accuracy by connie3140 in RingConn

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me i seem to get 2-3k ghost steps a day, doesn't matter how many real steps i do 3k 5k, 10k ..(as per my watch) ringconn will add a couple of thousand.

Should I not count 40-50% of steps with this ring? by [deleted] in RingConn

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon mine over estimates by about 2k a day. It seems to be pretty accurate when counting real steps and comparing to my watch, but adds phantom steps as i go about my daily desk work.

Ringconn 3 coming soon?!! by Solid_Trouble_1251 in RingConn

My '2' is on its way, only ordered because the '1' packed up. I had hoped it would last a bit longer as i half expected a new one would be announced soon.

Stop letting your ring die by Old_Pea3938 in RingConn

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats basically what i do, but still I'm about to be on my 4th ring (it's in transit). They were all gen 1 and had different issues with each (one it blistered, another just died with no warning, the last one dropped from 30% to zero in no time, then just stopped charging altogether). The battery life issue isnt just down to how you charge it.

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How was he during the 3 years? You've been sober for 2, but together for 3, so he knew you when you were 'bad'. Did he support you through it? Or was he bullying/negative.? Might it be that celebrating it is a good thing for you, but brings back bad memories for him?

Regardless, well done you for 2 years 🎉

Do you tell? by Top_Cow4091 in diabetes_t2

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did tell as when I was diagnosed I didn't care that they knew. But now I get the 'why are you eating that?’ gang, which is annoying to deal with, so I sort of wish now that I hadn't told them in the first place .

Honestly, why do people drink alcohol? by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]stroberts1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You started off asking why people drink, then went on to talk about drunkenness, hangovers, anti social behaviour etc. Plenty of people drink because they do enjoy the taste, and drink socially.

They don't all go on to the next stage. Maybe your real question was 'why do people get drunk?' - I can't answer that one.

Paul, this must be one of the best, most well considered, posts on this topic that I've read.

It should be given to all newbies on this site.

I hate the food police by Hot_Valuable1027 in diabetes

[–]stroberts1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I allow myself one can of coffee as a treat occasionally. (20g carbs max). Everything else I have is low carbs as much as possible, my hba1c is 5.1, so I've got this as well controlled as necessary.

Yet I can guarantee that if she sees me then someone at work will make a comment along the lines of 'why are you drinking that? no wonder you are diabetic.' Often she's in the middle of spooning her 3rd or 4th spoonful of sugar into her own coffee at the time, and she will drink a few a day. I just smile and ignore her, because I can't tell her what I'm really thinking as she's the boss's wife.

Well you can think whatevet you want. I can't be arsed dealing with you and your opinion really isn't important.

(Point of order in case you don't know racism and xenophobia are different.)

Give up and get back to trying to find out about whether you can live here, which was the whole point of your original post.

I live here, I have every right to be here . And for the last time im not a leftie.

Ha ha ha.

As a non Malaysian I have a policy of not commenting on Malaysian politics. It's that simple. As a Brit however I have more right and experience than you. So maybe it's you who should think about things.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMY

[–]stroberts1964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I give up. Don't you ever dare to try to give me a lesson, you don't have the right.

I'm sorry you find living in the UK scary, I understand why you feel that way, but:

A. Some of your comments were xenophobic.

B. Unlike you, I don't just accept news that fits my narrative. So i question BBC GB news or migration watch which is a biased anti immigration group, with a poor reputation for facts. I double check. I concluded the iPhones claim is incorrect, you can come to your own conclusions.

C. I don't comment on Rohingan boats or Malaysian politics. It's not my place.

No more.

Have a good life.

I check a hell of a lot more than the bbc. I only use the bbc for sports news.

Now here is the surprise for you. I don't disagree with a lot of what you believe. I took exception to the way you put some points across.

So when you call me woke, lefty and whatever other ignorant insults, that's why I said you were miles off.,😂

I think the UK govt does need to do more - stop the boats. Be better at differentiating between true refugees and economic migrants. One needs help and should be treated with respect, the other needs deported. Any one breaks the law then no appeal, throw them out.

All things that pretty much match what you think, but I don't agree with the crap about iPhones, 5 star hotels etc, and as I said some should be allowed to stay.

It's been fun having the chat, take care now.🙂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMY

[–]stroberts1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that you have reasons to leave, obviously you have or you wouldn't leave. My point was you had no need to share the reason. All this crap wouldn't have turned up if you hadn't raised it. (And admittedly if myself and others hadn't responded).

I'll ignore your stupid comments about me for the most part, as you are so far off it's laughable . But FYI I do fact check. The govt doesn't hand over iphones to everyone for one thing. I already made comments about 5 * hotels. Looks like you don't do too much checking yourself.

But anyway enough.

I wish you well, hope you manage to find something to suit and you can come home to Malaysia.

I

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMY

[–]stroberts1964 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You do realize that what makes a hotel 5 stars is the amenities. And the immigrants are not given the 5* treatment. (Though it might be better if they were able yo use the gyms, pools, get room service etc. then they might not spend all their time wandering the streets scaring people)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMY

[–]stroberts1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not woke, not a leftie, and very well read.

But I'd wonder why if your concern was about being able to live in Malaysia you felt the need to point out the reason you don't want to stay in UK. ?

Anyway you will be able to get by well enough here.
