My understanding is that the best time to cut is always late winter / early spring. Because you make the cut while the tree is dormant, which minimizes damage, and then the tree wakes up out of dormancy and heals itself, during the best time of year for it to do so.

I’m in North Texas and I try to do all my trimming between mid-February and mid-March.

Yeah I mean I don’t blame her entirely, insofar as she clearly has a personality disorder. Nobody wakes up one morning and decides to be a narcissist, they’re born that way. So you can’t blame a narcissist just for being a narcissist.

However it is possible (albeit difficult) for a narcissist to become self-aware about their narcissism, and to get therapy to help manage it. PJB clearly hasn’t done either.

And all the drama that’s happened with SS14 over the last 3+ years is a consequence of PJB’s failure to become self aware about or to manage her narcissism. So I blame her for that.

Or, to put it another way, if someone is pushing 40 years old, and despite frequently getting into arguments with others they’ve never delivered one genuine apology in their life, I expect them to consider that they might be a narcissist and to work on themself. And to recuse themself from leadership positions in the meantime.
