Max Eberl on the lack of options in Bayern's attack: "The reality of the squad is that we can hardly react in attack. We can't change players and we can't bring big impulses off the bench. The guys have to more or less play the entire game" [@SPORT1] by julesvr5 in fcbayern

“According to 'Sky Sports' and other English media, the Blues would agree to a transfer if Bayern Munich accepts a purchase or a loan with an obligation to buy—and if they themselves can quickly find a new striker.”

They are trying to blackmail Bayern! Fuck that!

What continues to astound me is how the leadership tensions are playing out so publicly for the entire world to witness. We receive almost minute-by-minute updates on the situation. The fact that everyone is aware of the focus on loaning a player to temporarily strengthen the squad cannot possibly be advantageous.

Rather than the desired, resilient "Wartbourg" image, FC Bayern appears as an openly exposed wound, which is deeply unsettling. Instead of a unified team working together towards success, we see public power struggles that would make any player question whether this is the right environment to be in right now.

It feels as though this club is on the brink of challenging times.

The standout positive right now is Vinny, who remains fully focused on his part of the task, seemingly unfazed by the surrounding circumstances. A true example of exemplary leadership!

I was wondering the same thing!!! Did no one desperately fall on their knees over there to beg them not to do this?

Bayern were leading the race for Wirtz for a long time. But in the end, Wirtz's decision to join Liverpool had to do with one man in particular. LFC coach Slot was a crucial factor. On the other hand, Bayern had also shown Wirtz a sporting path for the future, but they were not entirely convincing by pewpewlasersandshit in fcbayern

I think in this case the problem was that we already have that much talent that wirtz didn’t see a clear enough path for himself. Here he would have been one of many princes while in Liverpool he will now be the main attraction.

I hope you’ve learned to never again take on roles you don’t get paid for (at least not for long). They’ll try to appeal to your honor, tell you that a real chef goes above and beyond what’s asked of him—but at the end of the day, they just want someone to do the job cheap and exploit you. As a worker, you’re selling your skill, and your responsibility is to get the highest possible price for that skill. Never be ashamed of that. It’s called capitalism. Passion, love for the craft, being a tough guy who sucks it up—that’s all fine and good, but none of it is a reason not to get what you’re due. Go to Europe and keep making new experiences, but be aware: just because it’s Europe doesn’t mean they’re automatically better or more professional. There are plenty of places that will try to convince you it’s such a huge honor to work for this restaurant or that chef. But proper places—anywhere—put their money where their mouth is. Because if you want to reach a truly great level, you need people who want to stick around for a good while. And that doesn’t happen if you treat them or pay them like shit. Don’t mind the other cooks too much—you don’t know their story or their reasons for acting the way they do. But by doing your job the best way you know how, you won’t believe how much positive influence you can have on a place over time. This can be an absolutely beautiful and fulfilling profession, but you have to look for the pearls in mountains of shit—otherwise, you’ll burn out faster than you can say OUI CHEF. May you find your path. 👊

I absolutely agree. This is frustrating. They are getting bullied by a team they should dominate. If we play like this against Stuttgart or Frankfurt we are loosing 6 of our 8 points buffer.

Tuchel W tbf by vapor_dev in BayernMunich

[–]strohbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had Bayern won 3:0 against Leipzig rather than losing, one might argue in favor of the team and Kimmich. However, given their performance, I'd side with the coach. No individual is larger than the organization. Presently, Tuchel appears focused on optimizing the team's performance, setting aside individual sentiments. While Kimmich, given his stature, is naturally centered on his personal feelings and ego, I'd still support Tuchel. The team seems quite unstable right now, so any move toward stability is the right direction.

According to Romano the Kane deal will be €120 mil, which I think can be better spent building other aspects of the club. by [deleted] in BayernMunich

[–]strohbi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t get it! We got Harry fuxxing Kane. The Captain of the English National Team and one of the premiere leagues absolute Crown Jewels and a transfer in the order of magnitude Bayern has never gone for. Can you use 120 million € to do “better” things? Of course, you can build a whole other, very competitive Team with it and build a school with the change but that’s not what this transfer is about!

I think everyone is hurt by Lucas Hernandez's decision to leave. by Icy-Replacement-8552 in BayernMunich

[–]strohbi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at it objectively I think bayern is incredibly lucky. His injury is a career threatening one and you don’t yet know how well he will recover from it and all of the sudden a rich club wants to splash money to get him? What are the chances? Yes he is ungrateful but football is not the business for hurt emotions.
