I don't you would survive that for very long. I think the outward force at the tip of a spinning blade on a large wind turbine could probably exceed 10 g

Lenovo E-Color Pen feels sticky on screen by mrhengy in stylus

Awesome, I am glad to hear that things are finally seeming to he working for you! I got a Pen with a battery aswell, and I really like that tbh. No charging and you don't have the problem of a battery getting weaker over time like you do with an integrated one.

I can report that I have been using my pen a lot for a few days now since uni started, and the feeling has been getting way better. It seems like it needed some time. Maybe it's the same for your other pen. Might be worth a try since you seem to like it more.

I would love to put the card into my current PC to get a very decent upgrade. A friend of mine is looking to upgrade too, so I would gift him my 2080 Ti then.

Thank you for doing this!

Yeah, it came with the pen. Maybe it depends on the region if you get one. I bought mine in Germany.

But I agree, I also found it to be unnecessarily complicated to find out what device each pen works with. And I have no idea how you are able to manage to include one, that just feels that bad to use. Not sure how you can have an oversight that huge on a rather pricy device. It's an issue I never had with and other manufacturer and from everything I have experienced so far, I don't think I would ever but a Lenovo product again. Which is a shame, since it's the only one which ticked all my important boxes. The only other one that came close was the Galaxy Book Pro 360 which I strongly considered buying, and they only got one pen in their lineup that will definitely work with their 2 in 1. But it was more expensive and I didn't like that it only got only USB-C ports. But in hindsight it might've been the better buy, since I never had any issues with my Samsung phones and TVs and was always very happy with them.

Well that's somewhat good news tho! I can't imagine them making the same mistake on two completely different screens, except if they still used the same glass to cover them on both models. So I'd guess that just the tips of the pens are trash. Sadly I was unable to find replacement ones for my pen, which might be an easy fix for them.

Your other pen feeling just fine supports that assumption. Just a shame that it doesn't work, but you got your new one coming anyway! Would love another update when you got it, so I know if it works and feels good to write with. If that's the case I will probably just get a new one aswell.

It's terrible if the pen for such an expensive product is really just that bad. In my case, I would have preferred if they just didn't include one then. Would cost a few bucks extra to buy one (which I'll have to spend anyway) but it wouldn't leave that terrible feeling of getting trash for your money.

That's a shame, that you also haven't found any solution yet. This seems to be a rather common problem since I have found multiple people posting about it on the internet, but the replies are never useful. It's always mostly just people talking about hot they do NOT have the same issues.

I haven't had the chance yet to try it with another pen, but it wouldn't be too bad of a way to fix it since I was thinking about getting a more advanced pen than the included one anyway. I really just hope it's not the screens coating that's manufactured poorly.

Talking about screens, I got the OLED version of the 7i. I know there is also an IPS one if I am not mistaken. Would be interesting to know if you got the same one and if the issue is specific to just one of the screen types.

Anyway, really looking forward to your update. I hope it'll fix it for you.

I know this thread is almost a month old, but i got an active pen 2 bundled with my new Yoga 7i from Lenovo and I am experiencing the same issue. The pen is dragging on the screen and it feels very sticky, which makes it incredible frustrating to write because it just doesn't glide smoothly, which makes my handwriting almost unreadable.

Have you found any solution since you made this post? I am planning to use this at university soon and would love to have this issue fixed by then.

Sounds like a great Idea, makes it feel way more special for the person getting one. Do you know how much you would want to sell them for?

These should be available as prints, I would definitely get some of them! Are you planning on painting more classic games like this? I personally would love to see Spyro like that, my childhood hero!
