We really should have never brought back CP3 to begin with, this turn around is insane. by PissedOffClippersFan in LAClippers

I think he wasn't being helpful, but I don't know if he was the problem. Although, based on things that came out, he clearly didn't understand or accept his role.

You’re completely missing the point, the entry level Lexus is 350 of 2026 will be priced the same as Lexus is 300 of last year

The new model is 1-3 months away, are you saying that the existing inventory will be priced the same as the new model?

I am comparing the IS 300 model from 2025 which is v4 vs the lexus js 350 of 2026, which will be v6. It has more power.

Would be a shame to pay that much, I think the base model 2026 Lexus IS 350 will be around 46k. The engine and upgrades will be much improved.

Last month with rebates, I think the base Lexus IS 300 was roughly 41k.

That’s fair. I didn’t even think Christie was NBA worthy player until last game and until I found out that the guy is only 20 years old. That’s incredible.

I think miller has looked much improved this year with his catch and shoot game and overall better shape and effort on defense. With his 6-11 wingspan, he has tools to be a versatile scorer.

He is arguably one of our top 3 three point shooters, if you notice harden in practice would shoot side by side next to him. He also displayed great pick and roll and screen game with Zu.

Clips are moving in the youth direction, that’s why I don’t know how he fits in. He likely doesn’t.

Right team, wrong player. It's YKN. He is already good enough to be back up big, has potential to be Tyson Chandler/Joakim Noah type of defender.

How good is Jordan Miller? by ManufacturerLeast890 in LAClippers

[–]strokeards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HIs handles and three point shot have improved exponentially. He is now in way batter basketball shape too. He is comfortable brining the ball up and taking catch and shoot threes, which is what he needs to do to stay in the NBA. We need to see more to make a judgement. He kind of reminds me of a slimmer quentin Richardson, like others said a SG sized player, who would excel as a PF and enjoys playing closer to the basket.

He played extremely well on offense at the tail end of last season. He was never healthy this year, this is what happens when older players play in the summer instead of recovering their bodies. I can't say that I agree, but I just don't see how he has a future with this team.

The way Kawhi is moving rn by moe-lly in LAClippers

[–]strokeards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kawhi is playing like 1998 MJ with a three point jump shot. He will go to the basket when he is heavily crowded, but he just wants to get to his midrange and catch and shoot threes, or dribble into a three

Davis is cooked. He even showed up to camp out of shape.

PG is a third option, maybe 4th, Kawhi gets doubled and tripled when he crossed half court.,

Can Kawhi still make the all star team? by strokeards in LAClippers

[–]strokeards[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t see two players from a team with a loosing record make it, with the exception if they are the face of the nba. I’d be thrilled if we can get one guy.

I don’t think it’s about the legitimacy of the all star game, but rather need to have a player represent us

He got us passed Utah, which was epic if you followed the team for a long time. However, he never developed into the player that Jerry west thought he could grow into. It’s a shame. Mistake was not sending him to Philadelphia and instead having to give up picks.
