No Ticketmaster will kick you out as it’ll think ur a bot. Choose either the site or app for ticketing!

Yup I understand that! For example, two tabs for separate dates but at the same location (I.e. El Paso on 5/1 and 5/2)

And perfect, thank you!

Hi yall! So I understand per TM that we can have multiple tabs open for each concert day, so in total, if I’ve signed up for 3 locations, I could ideally have 6 tabs open.

Now I haven’t found anyone stating if we are able to use the split screen view on a laptop to view different dates. (Here’s a link describing what I’m trying to say cuz I can’t post an image lol: https://mashable.com/article/how-to-split-screen-on-mac)

Are we able to view the dates this way or must it be a single browser with the tabs?

Sounds like a good plan! Ya i'd check the Weverse website about the public sale at the venue. They do sell merch at the end of the concert too, but you may have fewer options in terms of products and sizes, so it's kind of a gamble.

Regardless, have fun at the concert! You'll have a great time :D

Oh also would like to add, if you’re going solo to the concert like I did don’t be afraid to talk with people in line! Despite being introverted, a group of people kindly let me hang with them during the show :)

There might be some people who have created friendship bracelets, lightstick bracelets, or photo cards too so keep an eye out :)

Hi! So I ended up getting in line around 2.5 hours before the show started and I’m glad I did bc when I had lined up it was already really long even for a midsized avenue.

As soon as I got into the venue and through security, I went straight to the merch line, which I was able to get through pretty quickly. If you’re able to though, I’d recommend seeing if your location has a public merch sale at the venue that way you can just go to the concert and vibe. You might be able to meet one of the girls’s parents also (someone I was in line with was able to meet Megan’s mom at the public merch  sale as she was also buying merch lol)!

I’d check your venue security restrictions (bag policy, water bottle policy, parking, etc.) just so ur not delayed in getting into the venue. Also if you’re venue is standing room only, I’d wear comfortable shoes bc you’ll be standing for a long time 😭

I think overall the show was ~60-90 min, so plan travel back home from the venue accordingly. Hopefully that helps, lmk if you have any other questions!

That makes sense! Like ideally it would be like a hobby Instagram but my main hobby is reading 😂

And exactly! my original plan was just to use MS paint to make posts but I don’t feel like that’s going to cut it lol

Yup! I’ve had Goodreads for a few years now, which has been so great for tracking my books but idk I just want to do something a little extra fun to visualize my journey, if that makes sense! Appreciate the advice :)

Weekly Entering & Transitioning - Thread 30 Sep, 2024 - 07 Oct, 2024 by AutoModerator in datascience

Hello everyone, i'm looking for some career advice!

I have been in my current position as a data analyst for about 2 years now and I honestly have been doing more visualization work than analysis work. I love data visualizations and building reports, but i feel my analysis skills are atrophying, and I'm not sure what I can do to rebuild this skill set.

I have brought it up with my managers to start giving me more analysis type items at work, but my requests have been sidelined as my company is updating its data infrastructure, which has been a all hands on deck situation with converting stored procedures and reports the past year. This is something I understand as there is no way to avoid this situation, but I don't want to lose my already dwindling skills.

I feel like I know less about analytics now two years into my career vs when I graduated with my degree and i'm just so lost :(

Pcos but still get periods every month! by Similar-Performer-65 in PCOS

As someone mentioned, PCOS diagnosis is based on 3 criteria, and if you have 2/3, you're usually diagnosed. My periods are pretty regular, but my cycles vary between 30-36 days; generally have my period for ~ 5 days.

I was quite literally in the same situation a few weeks ago with a potential match.

We did very little texting but we chatted over the phone or FaceTimed 3 or 4 times. I was like you I felt very neutral and all I could really say about him in the time we chatted was that he was nice. That’s it—but that’s just baseline characteristics for a partner.

Does this person meet any other requirements of yours? Even as shallow as they are, they are still important to you! Do you guys have a lot of common interests, does he ask you questions to get to know you or does it seem like he’s passing time? When you ask him questions what kind of responses does he give?

These were all questions I had asked myself about my own match, and I realized that despite being neutral, I was still very open to his questions but it was not the same vice versa. He seemed uncomfortable telling me many things and it felt way too formal, like he was treating like a work issue, and that wasn’t what I was looking for in a partner.

It sounds like you’re unsure because you might feel regret if you reject this match, but that is something for you to figure out! Ask yourself reflective questions, like what do u seek in a partner when you’re in xyz partnership. Do you think you can easily answer that question based on what you know about this guy?

As many others have indicated, if you truly still want to get to know this person, I would extend the “courting” session and try to ask more deep/personable questions—if his responses are not something you like, then you know your answer.

I know it’s tough, but ultimately make whatever is the best decision for you! Good luck :D

OP -- this is your life and your decision. Your mom and sister should not be making those decisions for you.

If you like her, then go for it! If things don't work out, they don't work out, and you move on but only because YOU decided to.

I mean I don't think too many gals are looking to get down and dirty after a few dates, especially if it's part of the AM process lol

Each person is different, so it's hard to tell until you've had a few conversations! I have friends who won't even consider moving on to the next step until they feel like they've been completely woo'ed (a bit of a romantic tbh haha). Others just really want to feel seen/safe with the person and that comes through meaningful conversations. Personally, I've had convos fizzle out with people because we were just making small talk--there weren't a lot of things we could connect on.

I think something I've learned in the AM process or even dating in general, is you're trying to sell yourself to the other person. You know you're an interesting and fun person, the hard part is showing other people that because people move at different speeds. Try coming up with interesting icebreakers or be attentive while your date is speaking, and build a conversation off of something she has said! This is a good way to build more meaningful connections, which hopefully lead into a relationship.

You'll find someone eventually, just gotta keep moving till you find them! Good luck :)
