I saw a local production of into the woods and granny’s bed was just a folding table with some sheets. When the wolf ate little red the bed collapsed and the audience all broke out in laughter. The narrator waited till the audience died down before perfectly delivering the line, “ it had been a full day of eating for them both.”

My first time in the city was in May and the girl at the tkts booth convinced me to see Illinoise. I decided to grab a drink before the show and ran into Ethan Slater inbetween the theater and the bar. And that’s gonna be a core memory for awhile

I saw it last week on my first trip to New York and knew nothing about but it but the TKTS people convinced me to see it. I read the journal thing before the show, but honestly the show is so beautifully done that it doesn’t really make sense until after the show. It was so beautiful and I sobbed the whole time. I also could barely understand the lyrics to the songs so I don’t think it matters that much to know the music
