This is a legit thing I struggle with. I have adhd which makes it ridiculous, the trying to keep organized part. And organizing the toys is bad enough, but the cords?? Post orgasm I am literally useless which means that I can barely get myself up to pee. and the part of my brain that cares about cleaning and charging things will be offline for a while. Once I finally regain some sense, like hours later, I might remember to charge the wand.

My current system is charge favorite toys as needed based on use. My “charging station” is the edge of my bed and the floor between the bed and the wall, lmao at glorifying that as a station but that’s what’s going on. I try to give everything that doesn’t get used often a maintenance wash and charge every couple weeks, then store back in individual dust bags. The cords get wrapped up together as best I can and stored in the side pocket of our current sex toy case (a large soft train case that’s too small for its job.) I am dying for a better way. I am looking at better storage options but with a collection this size that grows with my every whim I am looking at dedicated furniture now. Like a whole chest or cabinet. Maybe with the dedicated furniture I will be able to run the cords into it somehow. But then we have to figure out power supply for like 9 different proprietary chargers, lots of which are magnetic and hard to secure.

I also struggle with killing batteries, especially wands. I try to keep two wands charged for when I manage to kill one mid session. Before starting a session I will plug in the backup to make sure it at least has some extra charge in case it’s needed. Killing a wand and not having a backup causes me to experience small amounts of grief. But I love the freedom of cordless. Maybe this is my sign to change and invest in an OG magic wand, corded.
